Where is it written that brands must use text for their cars?

jigray3Don’t ask me. I think the Amazon logo looks like a penis.

Funny, I thought the same thing.

DonDraperThey don't want you to know it's a KIA when you see it.

SevenPlusOneOld logo looked cheap, they're trying to up their styling, old logo does not go with the new vehicles. Sorry, no one who's buying a 50k+ Kia SUV or Stinger, wants it with the same logo that the KIAs from 10-15 years ago. The lower end cars still have the old logo.

Jeez I wish I had the time and motivated effort to be offended by something that has ZERO effect on me...

Yet here you are taking the time and motivated effort to comment on my observation about a new logo I keep seeing.
Who said I was offended? Just making an observation and wondering if others see what I saw.

It is. It stands for their northern division, "Korea North". Cheaper to build there.

stickman428I like the new logo. First time I saw it I didn’t realize it was a Kia and thought it was some new car company. It’s an improvement over their old logo for sure.

darthfusterEveryone will get used to it. The old one looks......old. I'd like to see Hyundai update theirs. That's one crack-baby logo. Toyota's is okay I guess. I'm sure there's symbolism in the three ovals. Toyota is into symbolism.
Bit of trivia: does anyone know what the blue and white BMW logo represents? No googling and posting. Post only if you knew before I asked....

stickman428It’s an airplane propeller and the colors of the Bavarian flag. Right? I remember reading something about that when I was reading about old BMW motorcycles.

yessir, precisely. They made airplane engines and motorcycles before switching capacity to cars after the war when they were no longer allowed to build planes.

It's the Bavarian state colors. The prop thing came from an advertisement and stuck.

Lefty SigThe new Kia logo looks worse than a Ruger PC Carbine.
