Was in the check out line with my wife the other day. We had a cart full. Wife was busily pulling things out. I was sort of assisting and watching what was going on around.
In front of us was a young woman. A beautiful young lady. I would guess 22-25. Casually dressed but you could tell she was gorgeous. Shoulder length sandy brown hair. Looked like a single young woman with a handful of items just running an errand. As she was checking out I could see she turned her head and was looking at me. I smiled and she gave me an innocent, shyish smile back.

The little exchange made my day. Just thought I would share. Smile

Other side of the coin: what's the post she's writing? Razz

Twice while making an effort to allow a lady to continue walking, did I receive a 100% grateful thank you.

The first I was walking out of a convenience store and I held the door open for a young woman with a confident stride, a beautiful summer dress, and a smile to match. She stopped in front of me and said thank you before continuing.

The second I was delivering concrete to the buildings where Chicago Fire, Med, and PD are filmed. I saw a woman crossing the parking lot headed inside. I stopped where I clearly did not need to, just to let her continue. She walked about one step past the front of my truck, stopped and turned around and said thank you with a tone in her voice that sounded like she hadn’t ever had a man pay her a compliment. Believe me, that was an impossibility with her looks.

Both interactions put a smile on my face that lasted until bedtime.

At what age do men stop looking at lovely women?

I'd say age of death + 1 but that may be too conservative.

At what age do men stop fantasizing about attracting lovely women?

I'm 81, and I have no idea.

So I had an "encounter" today. I told a young woman she was unbelievably beautiful. And boy was it true. Perfect skin, ginger hair, blue eyes, perfect shape. She was probably 10 months old. Her mom--a looker herself--thanked me.
I went home and confessed all to my wife.

Years back I entered a elevator in the Water tower in Downtown Chicago that was shared by the Ritz Carlton hotel. There was one other person on the elevator with me, It was Julia Roberts. She gave me a wonderful smile when I looked at her. I could tell right then and there that she wanted me like a Dog wants a meaty bone. I was insulted that she would think of me like this so I chose to not speak with her. I ended our torrid fling then and there. Her bad behavior should not be rewarded. I always hoped that my rebuttal of her obvious affection directed at me would not upset or ruin the rest of Her life.
I carry a burden every time I look at myself in the mirror, Is it fair to keep all this to myself?

To put your age in context, Deborah Harry of Blondie is 80 years old this year.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Hopefully NEVER! My dreams are all I have.
I’m sure some lovely women are just dreaming about an encounter with a 69yr old grey haired guy but reality has to set in somewhere.

Back when I was in my 50's I was walking up to a club with my girlfriend. As we approached the door, two twenty something females came out. One looked at me and said "He's pretty hot for an old guy". Both my girlfriend and I chuckled. I recalled the hot part. She recalled the old guy part. LOL
