Unless there were other sharks nearby hoping to capitalize on an easy meal, this guy was likely dragged down and drowned. Great whites are not like the movie “Jaws”. They don’t hold grudges, get angry, or try to take revenge. Police say missing fisherman Paul Barning pulled overboard by mako shark Mako shark, not Great White. The shark was caught and reeled in and didn’t pull the guy overboard or attack anyone in any way. The guy got tangled up in other line and went over board while the shark was being reeled in. | |||

Well like any story the facts emerge later. What a horrifying way to go. Drowned or not, having sharks in the water would probably give me a heart attack alone. | |||
