I'm not as worried about our government as I am foreign actors or terrorists. Power grids have always been a target, have been attacked in the past, and will be attacked in the future. In today's world that could be done via computer from thousands of miles away.

Did you watch the video? She's NOT predicting this, or anything else at all. She's proposing the question in response to a World Economic Forum 'exercise' on precisely this subject. She predicates her comments on the previous World Economic Forum 'exercise' (in conjunction with the Gates Foundation), where they predicted the Coronavirus Pandemic. She indicates specifically, "The point is they made the prediction, they called it inevitable, and then it happened. So for me personally, that signals to me that I should probably pay attention the next time the World Economic Forum makes a prediction, and calls it inevitable."

Regardless, this also appears to be old video posted by TheLibertyDaily as she indicates the 'excercise' occurred in July, so certainly prior to 2023. The video also cuts off at the end mid-sentence so it's also potentially lacking context that the entire video may have contained.

What she is talking about is a conspiracy- and the most far-flung of conspiracies- a worldwide one. Conspiracies by their nature are complex and the greater the conspiracy, the greater the complexity.

Power outages do happen. There was one about 10 years ago in the NE IIRC, and there was one in NYC in 1965, I think. These things do happen, but there would be nothing simple about what is being suggested.

Oh, yes, she's "Just sayin'" Uh huh. She knows how people will react to her "questions". It's very disappointing, coming from someone who normally appears to be so level-headed, but it's just like all those assholes on youtube who post sensationalist videos about the pistol brace issue- they survive by clicks, and Miss Owens is selling it to us for clicks. You better believe it. Oh, yes, the WEF predicted so-and-so and then so-and-so happened, and now they're predicting something else, therefore...

Oh, yes, she's "Just sayin'"

clickclickcickclick Here's your check, Miss Owens.

Things must be slow for her.

The resulting food riots alone would be enough to bring down the world, forget about the rest of it, including atavistic savagery and cannibalism.

If I want a dose of this horse shit, I'll just read some bad science fiction.

The 'original video' from Candace Owens is from November 1, 2021 and was posted on Instagram...

The complete video is MUCH longer than the previously posted snippet from Liberty Daily (literally posted to Rumble yesterday!), and was seemingly intentionally provocative. The full video actually speaks to generational weakness, and the importance self sufficiency and independence. I can't figure out how to embed it, so here's the link...

https://www.instagram.com/p/CVwXBC_J2Q-/?hl=en

ETA - I don't know anything about The Liberty Daily, but I'm pretty sure Candace Owens has nothing to do with them as a organization. Their website does seem kinda 'click-baity' though, and a lot like much of the 'conservative' junk mail that shows up in my Inbox that I wish would go directly to my spam folder! Wink

Well, damn, a year and half gone and still no evil masterminds have pulled the plug? What kinda shit is that? The only thing worse than a string-pullin' evil, world-domineering villain is a lazy string-pullin' evil, world-domineering villain.

No, it did not. What happened was one supplier screwed up, inadequate automation in the connected grids were... inadequate, a domino effect resulted, and the Northeastern Blackout of 2003 resulted.

ISTR it was longer for us. ICBW.

That being said...

The power grid is vulnerable. This is something about which the U.S. Government and the power companies have known for years. The power companies keep being told "You need to address this" and they keep not addressing it.

As for (from the video) "the only way to shut down the Internet is shut down the power": Nonsense.

All that would be needed to shut down the Internet is to simply shut down the networking gear that makes it go. You start at the major Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), then proceed downstream to the smaller and smaller exchange points, down to the ISP peering points, then to the ISP Network Access Points (NAPs).

Long before you got down to the NAPs, the Internet would be essentially down.

They might even be able to accomplish it with no more than clearing-out the BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) tables in all the IXP, NAP, and private peering point routers. Everything would still be up, but, no part of the Internet would know how to route traffic to anywhere else on the Internet.

Shutting down the power would accomplish little. At least not very quickly. The ensigmatic household's Internet connection in 2003 was IDSL (ISDN [Integrated Services Digital Network] over DSL [Digital Subscriber Line]). It stayed up the entire time, without interruption.

The more likely scenario is continued decay of the grid infrastructure and the failure to invest in newer and more efficient power plants.

For the most part, we are typically accustomed to reliable power with only intermittent disruptions. In other places on the planet, persistent and unpredictable power outages are a way of life.

We are seeing a degradation of a lot of aspects in American life. It is more likely that this will also be impacted, versus nebulous claims of bogeymen WEF types and Klaus Schwab somehow pulling the plug on the electrical grid.

Consider the following:

  • There are seven days in a week, BUT, there are also seven nights. Coincidence? HA! I think not.

  • WEF backwards is FEW. That's right. Check my data.

  • We have letters in our names. The super-villains who are going to pull our plug (Razz) also have letters in their names. These names use the SAME LETTERS, only arranged differently. Do they think we're stupid?

  • That Seinfeld episode about Kenny Rogers Rotisserie Chicken where Kramer acted like he hated the business because their sign was making him crazy but really, he secretly loved their chicken and sent Newman over their like a tweaker visiting their dealer. So, OK, George goes into the restaurant with a hat made out of rat- a RUSSIAN hat made out of rat and it made everyone in there sick, and then what happened? They PULLED THE PLUG, and there was Kramer sitting there in the dark saying "Kenny? Kenny?"

I mean, could it be any clearer? Thank you.

Let me tie all of this together for you. Excuse me, my doorbell is ringing...

I really respect experts in most any given field.

I do NOT go to Candice Owens for information on the power grid.

You jackasses that do I swear, yall probably take dating advice from the Kardashians as well.

Half of yall will argue with me when I give you advice on North Korea or intelligence leaks, and half of you will agree with Candice Owens.

Mathematically speaking some of you will do both! And for that I have no answer or advice.

Also- and this is the most important part (yes, even more than the rotisserie chicken)- zero is a prime number. That's right, but they tell you otherwise, and the reason they tell you zero is not a prime number, is that that's how they're gonna shut down the power grid. They're gonna divide zero by zero.

Tell me about how the intentional global disruption of the power supply is the same thing as this:

It's not. It does provide a very small sample of how human behavior goes off the rails. It would be exponentially worse and it would happen fast.

Like when a Hurricane knocks out power to Florida for a couple weeks at a time but we manage to survive okay?

The elites won’t overtly crash the grid but will happily sit back and watch the ensuing mayhem should it occur from behind walls or fences protected by the same evil black rifles they want to remove from our hot little hands- all while enjoying uninterrupted power from big gennys with huge tanks of equally evil fossil fuel/gases. Even though they are precipitating brown and blackouts with apparently short sighted plugging of EV’s, they can say it’s not their fault because they didn’t do anything but try to save the planet. The goal remains division and limiting travel and half the country is crazy enough to support it.
