I happened to be searching for another video, and saw this:

New 9mm Gatling Gun from Tippmann Armory!

I have no idea who "Tippmann Armory" is, but this little thing is cool.

A quick google search revealed a $5000+ price tag, but I have to say, if I had a spare 5 g's somewhere, I'd be tempted.

Okay, I'll be That Guy.

Why? Interesting technical exercise, but other than turning a LOT of ammo into smoke and noise, what is the point?

I just picture a house with one of those at every window looking like some 18th century man of war and with a yell of prepare to repel boarders a bunch of gunners and assistant gunners take up position. I figure three guys per team. One to fire, one to feed and one to reload magazines. Smile

It’s funny you should say that. I have shot enough full auto in my life to feel the same way, money to noise fast. I always tell folks, full auto is fun the first few times then it’s just expensive.

I would NEVER buy one of these but I have to admit the weird old school/new school almost steampunk aspect of this combined with the mechanics of a Gatling, which is fun, appeal to me.

Here is the belt fed Tippmann.
Goes without saying last manufactured prior to May 1986.

Saw this for sale last month.
$200 Taxstamp and a few dollars for the gun.

My Best Friend sent me the link to that video (first one). Because it's so small, I have fears some would think of it as a toy, but its lethal capabilities need to be kept foremost in mind.

That Gatling would be fun! A friend of mine has one of each of the Tippman 1/4 scale machine guns. There’s a 1919, 1917 water cooled, and an M2. The M2 is in .22 mag.

The tripods on those guns are permanently attached to the guns to meet ATF rules on pistols (ATF rule at the time). They all also came with wooden crates, scaled down ammo cans, and cloth belts. They are oh so fun to shoot!
