I’m on the hunt for a new watch and looking for a couple suggestions. I’m currently looking at picking up a Seiko SRPG37 as I like the look and size. I’d like something in the 38-40 mm diameter and a rubber or nylon strap. Looking to stay in the $350 and under range if possible. Here is my very small watch collection. I managed to break a piece on my old timex replacing the battery yesterday. I just turned 40 and somehow managed to get by with only two watches.

I had an SRPG33, or an earlier iteration of it, for a little while. Rarely wore it & gave it to my dad. It's his rough wear piece when he doesn't want to risk hurting his Sternglas. I have two of these watches and really like the style. They use well-known movements so mechanically nothing to worry about, so that leaves style... https://vincerocollective.com/...ections/mens-watches Adios, Pizza Bob Silicone bands are easy to find, so I wouldn't worry about what type of band it has. I have switched all my watches (20+) to silicone or rubber bands. NRA Benefactor Member

I have never purchased anything from them but I have read good things on the watch forums about Long Island Watch. There is a drop down where you can shop by price. I can appreciate watches, but am not a watch nerd. That being said I have found I really like watches with no numbers on the face and the crown at 4 o'clock. There's a ton of watches in your price range and some very knowledgeable members here can guide you in. If you can describe more of what you like and it's intended use that will help. Is it to be an every day, dress, etc.. That Seiko is a nice one. Cheers~

Being a left-handed wearer, I can appreciate a 4:00 crown. The Enemy's gate is down.

I’m looking for just an everyday watch. Pretty much just date and time and nothing too flashy. I do a lot of fishing and figured on staying with a rubber or nylon strap due to getting it wet.

Check them out here for some great deals well within your price range: https://timex.com/collections/...ity=1&sort_by=manual "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

I don’t think you’ll go a bit wrong with that. I have a version of it (SNZG15J1)… it’s lighter and thinner (fits under a shirt sleeve well), and the power reserve lasts longer than any of my Samurai models. It’s inexpensive enough (mine came from Amazon, honestly, at about $135 nine years ago), and you can swap bands on a whim to change the look a little. Check out Strapcode and Barton for good examples. - - - - - ETA: Your SRPG37 is $252 on the ‘zon right now, and the SNZG15 shows at $299. If you can stand quartz which will keep much better time btw, the Casio Duro’s. 45 bucks basically for any bezel style. I love my automatics but my 2 Duros crush them on actual keeping accurate time. Every couple months I might be 15-20 seconds off and I reset them. I’m an airline pilot and a bunch of my peers loooove watches, expensive watches. I get asked if mine is a (fill in the expensive blank) all the time and I laugh and tell them it’s a Casio for 40 bucks. lol Great watches. 200 meters I think as well if that matters to you, it does not to me.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and help. In a fortunate turn of events, I had some points I had to use up at work through our positive recognition program. I ended up ordering a Citizen Garrison. The only bad news is that it will not be here until the middle of June. Thanks again for the help.
