Good news for me is I don't use straws. Bad news is that heart disease will probably kill me. So in an effort to hang on as long as possible I don't eat ANY fast foods. This makes it very easy to avoid straws.

BTW Heart Safe means no caffeine, no alcohol, limit salt, limit saturated fats, limit sugar, limit carbonated beverages, limit "red" meat. Yeah it sucks, but a Heart Attack can suck a lot more.

Paper straws is on of those things... Bill Cosby used to have a little bit about them in the 60's, about using them in school... "one suck and ffllppt flat". I'd think back on that and remember using them in school as well. "Jeez, just how friggin' old am I?" They're one of those things that looking back on, you'd NEVER imagine coming into use again. Like "We're going back to steam engines." But shit, here we are.
