Prepared for the Worst, Providing the Best |
The first vehicle I bought was a '94 regular cab long bed work truck. Manual locks, manual windows, 4.3L V6. Loved that truck. Pretty much totaled it hitting a deer, fixed it myself with junkyard parts, then sold it to my brother when I found my current truck. My first car was a '90 Chevy conversion van that was absolutely on its last legs when I got it. I loved that van, but the rust had eaten it and there was no saving it. I miss the '94 W/T more.

I regret selling the first two cars I purchased. Both sold when mileage reached 100,000, just cause I was scared of what "Might" happen. Both were in good shape and looking back, should have kept them. I've learned since then. The last several vehicles I've bought have been in the 90k-100k mileage range. One of my trucks now has 452,000 miles and still going strong (94 Chevy Silverado 5.7L) Phu Bai, Vietnam, 68-69 Baghdad, Iraq, 04-05
