By 80’s station I meant their music playlist.

I am enjoying KPUP playing in the background.

Thanks for posting the link.

Outstanding selections. They had some blues on earlier too.

HA !!! Smile ... on my DSL wifi setup, KPUP sometimes drops out. More than other streaming stations anyway. But that just may be my LAN. On Sunday mornings, they broadcast services from a Patagonia church. There's a local lady there that leads the singing and I can only take so much LOL. Sunday evenings (maybe Saturday too) they play a couple of syndicated hours such as Folkways and maybe a couple more. I just mostly have it playing in the background, so usually don't pay strict attention but SOooo enjoy KPUP. I used to listen to a community radio station out of the Catskills New York but just can't find it anymore. It was good too.

Oh man Sweet Jane by the Cowboy Junkies is on... haven't heard that in FAR TOO LONG!

BTW I have TuneIn and iHeart on my RokuTV so I should be able to get KPUP there too.

Any of these Catskill stations ring a bell?

I stream KPUP from TuneIn ... but like me, you MIGHT experience some drops going that route, dunno. Maybe I should try and find it on another streaming service.

Thanks bald1, I'll have to check it out tomorrow. 'Bout to hit my rack LOL.

As far as locating Community Radio Stations, I have this site bookmarked and will do some digging there too ... https://nfcb.org/map/

Yep. GREAT relaxing background noise. I never knew I wanted to vacation in Ibiza until I heard Cafe del Mar !!! Sunsets are AWESOME at Cafe del Mar ... they say. Cafe del Mar is an actual place in Ibiza but they're closed for the winter right now and will reopen in April.

Yeah that works on my Roku TV as does Cafe del Mar. iHeart doesn't have either.

On the computer I'm streaming KPUP from their own site: http://kpup.rocks/
Same with Cafe del Mar: https://cafedelmar.com/radio/

FWIW SomaFM has some great ad free streaming stations too. They're on TuneIn as well although I use their dedicated site https://somafm.com/ on both my computer and RokuTV usually for an ambient station like Groove Salad. Big Grin

One other "station" I'll add is Radio Paradise for background noise. I stream it through TuneIn but it has a stand alone Roku channel too. It's commercial free. I don't listen often but it's a nice change now and then. Sure is a lot of music in the world.

Oh and for classical, I like ArpeggioRadio (TuneIn)

EDIT: Enjoying Radio Paradise this casual Saturday after all. Pretty relaxing

Can I assume you prefer the "mellow mix" option?
