The P229 I put together performed well, but the mag release wasn’t great, felt even harder to find than normal but I feel like that’s also because of the temporary rosewood grips on that one which are PHAT!

Armory craft offers one, I’m assuming the P229S mag releases from Sig are not really available?

Is AC the best option out there?

Is it this one?

Think when you change grips the need will go away. I have found the wood grips to be beefy in that area.

Wasn't aware of the “slip catch” change on the newer Sigs.

^^^ You know, I wasn't aware of it either, until after I posted the link.

I remember an email from Sig about it a few months ago, but, having no need for one, never really followed up on it.
