Probably break in my new Weber kettle 22 inch master touch grill with some ribs and a Boston butt. I’m sure there will be some cold beer and probably a bourbon that night. Everyone stay safe and enjoy. God bless America.

Usually do a little BBQ’ing the day of and then we go watch the fireworks show in town.

Used to like the parade downtown but the parking sucks and its always to damn hot.

The guest list keeps growing so I went and purchased a third brisket. I had one in the freezer and my neighbor had one he donated. Felt I needed a third. Nearly $8 a pound! Eek The guest list is likely going to creep above 100.

Oh well the 250th only comes once and I'm sure I won't be around for the 500th! Glad to hear everyone has some way to celebrate. I have three acres of property and we will have extra campers parked all over. A special event made more special by the gathering of friends, family and even people I haven't met yet. Plus some damn good food! The Great American BBQ work starts today with all the prep work that needs to be done.

Daughter is having a brew-ha-ha, there will be bbq of some kind and lots of side dishes plus deviled eggs!

Went over and helped him build the Mortar launching stands, two 8 ft strips with stringers for stability and concrete block holders total of 24 tubes installed. Two solid backed pallets for the boxes of multi launch fireworks.

Gonna be a bang up event!
