I have it and cognition issues due to my stroke. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, and I hope he gets help with it.

It took me several years to actually realize I shouldn’t have gone back to policing. Another TIA took care of that.

I wish him the best.

I remember first seeing him in Moonlighting. Man, that was a long time ago!

I watched a recent movie only because he was in it... and really was disappointed in it. I wondered why he would be involved in an action flick this disappointing, but figured it was more a result of Hollywood budget cutting and just poor storyline and directing and reliance on CGI and formulaic writing...but his acting wasn't great in it

But, a couple weeks ago I caught an interview with a Conservative entertainment critic and he talked about the rumor around Hollywood that Willis was having cognitive difficulties. He would frequently forget lines and have to have someone nearby off-camera to feed them to him, and he would only commit to two or three day gigs in movies.

The critic made it clear that, at that point, it was only a rumor, so I didn't feel it was appropriate to post at that time, but with this announcement, obviously the news is out.

Yeah, I remember his TV Moonlighting days as well. Great show that put him on the track to movies.

I'm truly sorry to hear this news and I hope they are able to ease his symptoms, and wish him the best. What a horrible thing.

Yeah, he is only 67 yo and if he didn't have health issues, he could have easily made more films, his star was still bright.

As his carrier moved along his characters where more predictable. Writers more so than his stage presence and acting ability which in most cases saved the movie. I remember one of his first gigs. was Moonlighting with him and Cybill Shepherd. I don't know the complete back story, but it seems Shepherd thought she was the bigger star. Okay.

I hate to hear it. His actions over the last 40 years indicate he’s genuine and nice. I’ve only met two actors in my life. Bruce and Tommy Lee Jones. Jones was a horses ass.

Seems like a decent guy and the fact that both his current wife and ex enjoy a warm healthy relationship with him and their children speaks volumes. No nothing kinky at all... just healthy respect and cooperation it appears.

Trust he and his extended family make the best of this situation.
