Does anyone have dreams like these?

I haven’t set foot in high school since 1991 yet I still have dreams from there.

These seem to be the most prevalent ones:

1. It’s Gym Day at high school and I realize I forgot my gym uniform

2. I remember that I have a math class in high school (I HATED math) that I was supposed to be going to and I realize toward the end of the year that I never went

3. I find myself back at Army Basic Training and I’m being made to go through it all over again

Yes, except it’s college and I’m taking the final for a class I never went to, but need to graduate.

Yes. I just had a college dream a couple nights ago but it morphed into a "I have to go to the bathroom but they are all occupied and I can't find one" dream. Then I wake up and head to the bathroom.
Usually it's I'm not prepared for a report or test.

My friend sometimes has a dream he's back in high school because they say he never finished.

Those are very common. Even the dreams that you are naked in your high school classes.

Yes, I definitely have also had the college final for a class I never attended dream. Funny thing is I only missed 1 class in college, so it is extra strange.

I graduated High School in 2001 and the vast majority of the dreams I remember are either about High School or College.

The High School dreams are always at a different school and never at the school I attended or one I have actually been to. They are never eventful however the dream is ALWAYS built around me forgetting my locker combination.

The College dreams like the High School dreams are always at a different school and never a school I have been to or either of the 2 I attended. They too are never eventful however the dream is always built around me either loosing my schedule completely or just being flat lost on campus trying to find where my classes are.

I have had these dreams fairly often pretty since I graduated.

I've had more than one dream recently, starring my ex. In each one, she was trying to kill me. Eek

Geez. Dreaming of gym would mean being a 7th grader and asshole boys grabbing the front of our hideous snap-front gym suits and ripping them open from neck to waist and laughing hysterically as they passed us in the hall…

I graduated college almost 30 years ago, and last week I still had the "I didn't study all semester and now it's finals" panic wakeup.

On the bright side, the realization that there is no problem feels pretty good.

There’s something to that one…

Just try and kill her right back..

I used to have recurring dreams where people drowned, no shrink required-I had to fish dead folks out of the water..

When I was a cop I had the “my trigger won’t squeeze and the gun won’t go off” when a baddie was on me….but that’s a common dream among cops and soldiers…something about not wanting to kill humans as it goes against our underlying keeping the race alive stuff..or some such…that went away after a year when I first started.

Then I had recurring dreams where I was a secret serial killer…but that went away

I don’t have dreams I remember now..

I can continue some dreams a few weeks later and remember them in great detail.

I also had a fight with Superman over a light switch, but I've never left the house without any pants.

I have found that the Robert Miles - Dreamland album is very aptly named.
I sleep so well to this album and generally have super vivid dreams.

Started playing for my boys as they go to sleep and they sleep so much better as well.

Yes. I'm 69 years old and I still have school days dreams. The most common is the one of not studying or studying enough for the final exam. Or of still needing a couple of credits to graduate. Probably wouldn't be difficult to correlate with current life situations that could trigger them.

I have several that reoccur from time to time.

I am either at school or at work wearing only my white cotton underwear.

I am at school early in the year and I have no idea where my classes are or which one is at what hour. Also the one where I can't find my locker.

My vehicle has been stolen before and now it's stolen again!

My dreams are high speed chases. One in particular where my old partner is driving, loses control of the car and we leave the road and skid into a lake. I wake up when the car hits the water.
I could do without this one!

Every now and then I'll have some version of a dream where I realize that I never went to a particular high school class. It's really strange that the same kinds of dreams occur with different people.

I dream that I have to go back in…or already have and can’t figure out why I would go back in…and get very panicked that I’m theirs for 4 more years!

I have had those dreams. Two recurring dreams:
1) I am in high school. During a class I find that I forgot my pants.
2) I am on top of a stadium roof, fall off and I am flying.

I graduated high school 50 years ago and have never been on a stadium roof.

I did have a strange one last week. I was driving around in an aqua 1953 Chevy with Lucinda Williams, she was driving. I am a Lucinda fan so this was a good dream. And no, it wasn't a gravel road.

Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?
