But was she loving you righteously? Smile

My anxiety dreams come in mostly 3 scenarios. One is having to go back to the Academy even though I graduated 40 years ago and have been retired for 20. And I'm worried that they are going to find out that I've already been there and they will kick me out. Other times I'm still there and have the old I didn't ever go to a certain class and am worried I won't graduate.

The second is I am back in the Coast Guard and standing duty at an Air Station and we get a call for a Search and Rescue mission. I am the Aircraft Commander and run out to the flightline and see that I am supposed to fly a helicopter instead of the Falcon jet. Oops, I don't fly helicopters. Invariably I wake up before I have to fess up.

Third, more recently due to the fact that I am currently grounded for medical issues, is that I am somehow assigned a trip at my current employer and I'm briefing with the other pilot and I suddenly remember I don't have a medical. So we have to debate if its ok for me to go since replacing me would cause a long delay and I could just work the radios. Again, I always wake up before we actually go flying.

Weird stuff these dreams.

I've actually had that same dream and it's been a long time since I graduated from college.

I have vivid dreams every night since I can remember. I'm 69 and somewhere buried in the attic is a dream book that every morning in high school I wrote my dreams down.

Some recurring dreams:
I have to take a college exam for a class I didn't know I was taking.

I'm married to wife 1 and 2 and they are both pissed off and yelling at me and we all live together.

I'm in a gun battles (all different) and can't find the right ammunition for the rifle I'm carrying.

I can't remember my locker combination.

I'm working inside a shut down nuclear reactor that is down for maintenance and the water level in the reactor is dropping and they lock us in so if it fails no radiation gets out of containment. ( that happened to me once, I was worried but I knew they would get a pump turned on and get us out before long).

A nuclear bomb explodes and I use an army blanket to protect me from the radiation.

It's getting harder to remember the dreams if I first get up and don't think about them.

Sometimes I dream I’m back in high school. I’m standing in front of my locker and can’t get the combo right. I remember the combo, but can’t seem to get it right on the dial. Also I realize there’s a massive tear in the seat of my pants and my bare butt is showing.

Was wondering if everybody's dreams are from places from where they have already been or are they made up as they go along.

A high school or shopping mall would be easy enough, but I'm thinking more like abandoned space colonies, ships, or inside UFOs.

If aliens are involved, are they different from the other aliens that you dreamed about a few months prior?

The last time machine I rode in was dangerous AF, so I sank it in the Atlantic.

I'd say 1/3 of my dreams involve driving old cars or trucks, sometimes traveling, others just driving. (never modern ones)

A friend of mine brought his new camper, about three hours north of me, to Traverse City, MI. My wife and I went to visit with the intention of staying the night in the guest "bedroom". We had a few bourbons around the fire and went to bed. I had a dream of some sort that landed me in a bowling alley, which isn't a place I frequent. A fight broke out and I threw a basic front kick right to the knee of whoever this was. Unfortunately it landed into the side of the camper, putting a hole clean thru the paneling or whatever it was. It woke everyone up and we had a good laugh. He's a good sport and we put a fake outlet cover over the damage the next day. Definitely not something that happens to me often.

I don't dream (that I remember) very frequently, but I do often have those "I'm unprepared for something" dreams, or late to class, etc. I'm 56, and haven't had a school class in 34 years.

I have had many dreams where I am not at a location I've ever been to. I once dreamed I was playing guitar on stage and nailing it in front of a crowd. I don't play guitar.

One of the strangest dreams I ever had was my freshman year of college. I was at a theme park. It was crowded. R2D2 and C-3PO were there, and there was a giant frog (about the size of a bear) jumping between 3 points of the park several hundred yards apart from each other. An extremely hot girl from my high school was there (I barely knew her, as she was a year older than me, and I doubt she knew me, but she was always friendly and not stuck up). Then I woke up. (No, I've never done drugs.)

I actually had a dream last night about one of the first girls I dated, but we dated for a very short time before she moved out of my home town, and I was away at college, so nothing came of it. Nothing happened in the dream, but she was there.

Dreams fascinate me. I remember a few, but forget most of them. Most are vague, but some quite vivid.

Most of my dreams are not in places I have been to even if they should be. Such as home, a work place, a school I went to. The dream may be that I am at home but it isn't like any house or building I've ever been in.

Same with people. Even if the person is supposed to be someone I know, they never look like someone I know and if they have a name in the dream it isn't the name of someone I know.

If the dream is about my wife or child then it tends to be the correct name and appearance. Almost always.

Strangely the exception seems to be a dream about any of 5he dogs I've owned. The dog is the correct name and appearance.
