I disagree.
Kilts are commonly worn with low-cut dress shoes and tall socks for formal occasions, like ceremonies, weddings, formal dinners, etc.
I don't think that's what he meant by "under it."

It has often occurred to me, but... I dunno...

I have a kilt and wear it to a variety of occasions, including the range for a turkey shoot. The breeze is nice. Amazing how many ladies give me approving looks and comments, even at the grocery store.

On a hot sweltering day a kilt will keep the gnats out of your eyes.

Probably helpful at picnics, too. Maybe pin the back up.

Well, visible sock stays and white socks with any of black shoes except maybe sneakers are just...yuck, too.

My eyes were recently assaulted by the sight of a young skinny punk wearing what the wife tells me were mjeggings or some such. Yoga pants for "men." I'd prefer to see the skirt, at least junk don't stick out.

Transvestites, cross dressers and deviants of all kinds will always be with us.
But sure, you can call it 'hipster' clothing, but euphemisms/untruths/plain old bull shit doesn't really hide the nature of these gag a maggot perverts.
Don't get all pissey and spoil your just painted nails when normals laugh at you and your limp-wristed attempts at being accepted as normal, cuz bud, you ain't...

I think it’s fair to ask, “WTF is a ‘tactical duty’ kilt?”

Kilts look great...on women.
Yeah, yeah, I know the history and what great warriors were kilt wearing hard chargers of ancient times, but face it, a kilt is ....wait for it - is still a skirt.

What I worry about is the rapid degradation of our society due to clueless 20-somethings. All the generations of American men who came before these little girls did not need to be told that no normal, sane person wants to see them in a skirt.

I won't even wear shorts outside of my house. Sleep wear only. A skirt.... You're fucking kidding me right? I would much prefer to have lived when men wore collared shirts, ties and hats and women wore dresses.
A Perpetual Disappointment...

I wore a kilt recently at a Renfaire After Dark event (over 21 only, helluva party), and was astonished at how much attention I received from comely young wenches.
The difference between a kilt and a skirt is that you wear panties under a skirt.
