Yes, but you soak them, the planks not the fish, in water for an hour or two and use indirect heat. |

Green grass and high tides

| We have some giant coastal cedars on our property in the PNW that are literately small redwoods. Amazingly huge trees. Probably 12'-14' circumference or bigger. Very cool. Cedar burns fine. In a fire pit it is awesome. Smell's great, snaps and pop's. Provides good heat, but does not last in a stove. It is a soft wood. Beautiful and is gorgeous to use for projects of all sorts.
