I hope this guy has a GoFundMe or deep pockets if GoFundMe doxes him. I can't see this not being overturned on appeal.

A despicable prosecution by despicable people.

How many of those who were "deprived" of being able to vote actually texted in for Hilary multiple times? What sort of justice will they face? Who noted these texts, and how did this affect their stance on liberalized voting regulations in 2020? How much of the margin were votes that would have been disallowed in earlier elections?

..convicted of federal election interference charges

This is truly insane.

This guy only posted jokes, mere words.

And those accusing him, prosecuting him, are part of the operation that have broadly, openly broken election laws left, right, up and down. To accuse these commies of "election interference" is like giving out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.

The more outrageous the "crime", the better they like it.
It's all about intimidation.
Just like Jan. 6.
And the FBI "domestic terrorist" shtick.

I dunno guys. I can clearly tell this is a joke, but I also know a non-trivial number of people who would fall for this. For me personally, this crosses a line. Did they need to punish him as hard as they did? Not sure about that. Should they also go after anyone on the left who did the same thing? They damn well better now that they have convicted this guy. Was what he did ok and just a joke? Yes, it was a joke, but it is the kind of joke you can’t just throw out in public and assume it’s fine. If they guy just texted it to a few friends or put it on a private discord or something, no big deal. If you drop it into a public space with no regard to the potential audience, that is reckless. The way I look at it, you have to draw the line somewhere, and I’m ok with it being drawn here, as long as they apply it to both parties.

^^^Dude, be serious, it's not like he yelled fire in a crowded movie theater or anything! Should satire be outlawed? And if so, exactly who gets to define that? There was NO crime here, but regardless, the law is not intended to protect people from their own stupidity anyway. This 'line' should NOT be drawn...Period!

I guess I am old school. If someone is such a dolt to believe that then maybe they shouldn’t even be voting in the first place…

This is the law he broke. How many of his coconspirators where arrested, where they even named?

Who was to injured, oppressed, threatened, or intimidated? Did any of his victims testify to their injury, oppression, threats, or intimidation? Was he able to face his accuser in the court of law?

18 U.S. Code § 241 - Conspiracy against rights

quote:
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

Yep, just ask. . .

Richard Jewell

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula

Dinesh D’Souza

Concerned parents attending school board meetings

PDJT

Any medical expert that raised concern over the safety and efficacy of the C-19 ‘vaccine’

Any person that voiced concern of the negative effects and consequences of the plandemic

The targets of their vitriol, hate and unhinged insanity resulting in violent outbursts is quite long.

It’s just my opinion. I’m m not asking you to agree with it. Like I said, I guess I just know too many people who would not realize it was a joke. I know a guy named Dave. I don’t know what the term for Dave is now, but when I was a kid he would have been called slow. He wasn’t mentally handicapped per se, just not that bright. Dave wouldn’t get that this was a joke. I’ve also got a cousin who is pretty bright. Straight A student in high school. She is also really gullible. She wouldn’t know this was a joke. There are some Lenny of others I’ve known like them. Normally, if they don’t get a joke, it’s no big deal. If they saw this and didn’t get the joke…well, they do vote, which makes it more of a problem.

I understand your position, and I admit this very well may be applied unequally, and this instance could be politically motivated bullshit. I just think that, in principal, this sort of trolling is crossing a line and shouldn’t just be written off as a joke. Not sure a random dude needs to go to jail over it, but I don’t think we should just let it slide either. That’s just me though. I understand why you might not agree.

^^°It was a satire Twitter account ran by a 24 year old. If people are going to a satire account named after a 1980's movie character and the profile pic wearing a MAGA hat, to get Democrat voting information, then I don't know what to tell you. We can't dumb the entire society down to that type of person's level.

The vast number of the texts that were sent were most likely from the accounts of his followers, not some person seeking where to vote, or even stumbling onto his account. They were likely texting to see if they'd receive a funny reply or meme.

I can’t help but wonder if the commies are pushing everything to and far past the level of absurdity in hopes of generating a reaction that they can label as an insurrection in hopes of justifying a further escalation.

They won’t get it from me, but if a bolt of lightning or a comet strike several of them down I won’t even break out the world’s smallest violin.
