Wtf is an assault weapon ? It’s not mentioned in the owners manual or any gun store sites. The manufacturers web sites do not mention it. Put it in their search function of their site and it comes up with nothing. If I use a baseball bat to hit someone is that an assault weapon too .

This is my argument, right here, in spades. A GD rock is an assault weapon...just ask Abel.

Grumpy...

Thanks. I looked it up just after I posted. All GDC's and no support from the republican majority. It will die on the vine.

How about shoes people wear to kick others. We should ban steel toe black leather boots.

You know, do it for the children.

Some states allow you to buy longguns from an FFL in an adjacent state.

Wasn't there an "assault weapon" ban from '94 - '04? How'd that work out, even according to the DOJ?!

They want to ban assault weapons? I know of only one firearm called an assault weapon, the Sturmgewer. I guess I'm ok with that being banned.

This is one of the reasons I'm against granting 2 million DACA kids citizenship. Look at how close the races were across the board in 2016. Adding even a million more Democrat voters could tip some states blue resulting in more of this.

Utah's Gov said, "And when it came to limiting magazine size, the governor said: “I don’t know that there’s any reason to have anything more than a seven- or nine-shot magazine. Once you get past a typical size when you go out hunting, you’re probably having excess baggage you don’t need.”

What????? Not NJ...the Gov of Utah said that.

I'm just about apoplectic about this. What in Christ's name does hunting have to do with a conversation about the 2nd amendment, you squid? You are the governor of Utah, you jerk. Act like it.

If a federal law bans AR15s, Georgia could become a sanctuary second amendment state. Overlook immigration laws then overlook weapons bans.

I agree with your stance, but the Bible does not identify the weapon Cain used to kill Abel. (I'd always heard it was the jawbone of an ass, but I just checked and it is not mentioned.)
