If I'm driving 2400 miles over 48 or 65 hours, a two pound difference in one front tire would be enough for me to correct it. Five hours on a two-lane, seeing fewer cars than I can count on one hand, I get to paying attention to the truck. Road camber can nudge a vehicle towards the road shoulder but so can lower pressure in a front right tire (if reading this Down Under, kindly replace "right" with "left"). Big Grin

Easy solution: Discount Tire has a drive-through lane where they will check your pressures and inflate to the requested value, and quickly assess tire condition. No charge, it's FREE, whether or not the tires were purchased at Discount Tire.

I think they use a 78% nitrogen blend.

If you are near Costco, they do the same no charge for air, and they'll do it for you, plus 100% nitrogen, non blended Big Grin

I have gone through multiple expensive gauges from various manufacturers (although haven't had a Longacre as yet) over the years with the the track cars. They all seem to have a lifespan of only a couple of years, and as noted above, never agreed with each other. I was talking with the service manager at one of local Porsche dealerships. He said that they have come to find that the TPMS is as accurate, if not more so, than any of the gauges they have used. I know when I have compared my latest big buck tire gauge with the TPMS, it has never agreed.

My Intercomp's match my TPMS. As does my Meiser (made in USA version). Even after years of use.

I actually still don't trust the TPMS for accuracy though; only for signs of leakage.

I bought this one and compared it to the ones we have at work that are calibrated by our airline and found it to be accurate.
^^^ This!

This is the one I use for my airplane tires, they require 75 psi mains/60 psi nose.

YMMV but Intercomp has been good for me.

AFAIK, Intercomp is still made in USA if that matters to you. Not saying the gauge is superior than other options in terms of accuracy or reliability. All things being equal, this mattered to me.
