Run to the store, grab a package of Bob Evans mashed potatoes, pop in the microwave, heat, stop half way, add in a heaping helping of butter, continue to heat, you'll never boil another tater....

In a married household, it's all about shared responsibility, and utilizing inherent skill sets early on because shit needs to get done. Later on we learn new things based on either need to do so, learning as you go, or desire as we discover new interests.

I think most men would agree on owning Family Security as a primary responsibility, followed by the following secondary/instinctive responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance, Lawn Care and Cooking Outside over Flame. Everything else is negotiable... Wink


my wife never learned,
her grandmother was an excellent cook, her monther, not so much (but has greatly improved,,)

my mother and both grandmothes were/are excellent cooks,

so I was cooking, but not much, when I was single (parents divorced, living with dad, who was not a great cook)

then married to a woman that did not have a clue,

been cooking most meals for 35 yrs now ,, and don't mind a bit
