They already use blood test to check levels of THC in suspected DWI/DUI operators. I vaguely remember that the DA's had a particular number of units per liter of blood that was their brightline for intoxication (like 0.08BAC for alcohol). I charged a few people for DWI wile high on MJ, but they were not the norm...I think I charged four or five in 18years....

That’s because weed smokers are paranoid, do the speed limit and pay too much attention to driving, if there is such a thing. I’ll take them driving over a drunk every got damn day of the week. Come to think of it, I’ll take them driving over some idiot staring at their phone screen while driving a 5000 lb truck too.

Hawaii just pulled this. Medical card + registered firearm owners = a knock on your door to turn one or the other in, can’t have both.
More infringements on your freedoms. If you get drunk once in a while and you own firearms, no difference, so this is hypocritical to say the very least.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Well, lets just say the ones I hooked up for it were a danger to the public...not just driving under the speed limit and using all their blinkers...literally so blotto-ed out of their skulls they had to read the paper the next day to see the police blotter to see what they got arrested for....couldn't talk, couldn't see, that kinda wasted....not just "don't worry, be happy" high...

Alcohol vs weed. Why not some straight talk right from the mouth of Sergeant Joe Friday himself. Remember, his stories are true, but the names have been changed to protect the innocent...

Land of the free, home of the Atlanta Braves!

Personally, I see no problem with weed. It's less harmful than alcohol.
You want to smoke? Smoke.
You want to drink? Drink.
You want to play with guns? Go right ahead! Just don't do weed/alcohol and guns at the same time.
