If they're going out of business, it's because their prices are too low. I have scored some unbelievable deals there. Not kidding, I have felt like I was stealing from them and wondered if they had marked the guns correctly. I got a like new, probably unfired Glock 22 there for $279, a like new HK USP Compact stainless in .40 for $399, a like new two tone SIG P220R Carry for $389 and many, many others. They also have great sales on new stuff, sometimes the best prices in the Valley. Hate on them all you want because "Scottsdale" is part of their name. But their staff have been great to me and I have scored some great deals. I have probably bought 10-15 guns there.

I was born at Bartlett Dam, about 60 miles NE of Phoenix, and I always make a pilgramage to there when I visit Phoenix. Unless you are "into" dams I won't recommend you go there, but the big reservoir it creates is used for water sports. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

After all the good advice, it's shaking out to be the Heard Museum, the Desert Botanical Garden, and eat at Si Senor's. We'll have to do another visit to see more. Thanks a lot!
