I couldn't say, but I fully expect a 3rd nomination is forthcoming.

The Debka File is reporting that Bahrain is expected to normalize relations with Israel.

“ Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa will be taking part in the historic signing ceremony to normalize relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates on Sept. 15, and plans to announce that Bahrain will also normalize ties with Israel, US administration officials confirmed on Friday. US President Donald Trump is scheduled to make a formal statement about this diplomatic development later on Friday.”

Kinda makes you think maybe the Arab countries don't think Biden is going to win; otherwise, why do this now.

They may well think that if Biden wins, the Iran deal is back on and they had better be in solid with Israel to avoid being overrun by Iran.

I'd agree with them, if they had made that same call after Barry the Wonder Putz, Al Gore, Jimmy Carter and Arafat were given the award.

Trump opened up natural gas and oil production in the US and made us the largest producer in the world. He took away the only card the middle east has to play. For 50+ years we let them try to control the market, and Obama gave them MORE control. Trump ended it.

Now they have to play nice if they want to sell enough oil to support their lavish lifestyles. It's all about leverage.

The only way for this to happen is to have an independently rich President that doesn't need the fruit of the office. Most of the others aren't rich before being President, but they become rich shortly after. That doesn't happen if you don't take care of the right people when you are in office.

So obvious, so simple, but it escapes most everyone out there....

I caught a quick blurb this morning, it was either Pelosi or Biden who said that Trump's Middle East peace work is just a diversion from his failing reelection campaign (or something like that).

If Trump gets the prize it will add some credibility to an award that has in the past given out like candy to kids.

The man is amazing and he's doing positive things for all people. He deserves the peace prize but doesn't care or need it.

I thought the world of Ronald Reagan but President Trump is shaping up to be the greatest President in my lifetime. If we can give him 4 more years I think he'd be able to address and resolve either Iran or North Korea.

President Trump's been nominated a third time, but this article has it wrong: it's for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, not the 2020. Nominations for the 2020 Prize, to be announced 10/9/20, ended back in January. Hoping this continues and that a U.S. president who actually deserves one wins for a change.

Trump gets third 2020 Nobel Peace Prize nomination

By Evie Fordham | Fox News

President Trump received his third 2020 Nobel Peace Prize nomination in September, this time from a group of Australian law professors.

“What he has done with the Trump Doctrine is that he has decided he would no longer have America involved in endless wars, wars which achieve nothing but the killing of thousands of young Americans and enormous debts imposed on America," Australian legal scholar David Flint told Sky News Australia on Sunday. "He's reducing America's tendency to get involved in any and every war."

Flint praised the president's role in brokering a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

"What Trump did is he went ahead and negotiated against all advice, but he did it with common sense," Flint told the outlet. "He negotiated directly with the Arab states concerned and Israel and brought them together."

"He's also been the first American president to work out how to make America energy independent of the Middle East," Flint added.

Trump was first nominated for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize by a Norwegian Parliament member for his role in the United Arab Emirates-Israel peace deal. Days later, a Swedish Parliament member nominated Trump again after he helped secure a deal for normalized economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo.

"It's a great honor to be nominated, and I know it has tremendous significance," Trump told Fox News Radio White House correspondent Jon Decker on Sept. 10. "I just think it's a great thing for our country. It shows that we're trying to make peace, not war all the time."

The Nobel Peace Prize winner will be announced on Oct. 9.

Fox News' inquiry to NobelPrize.org was not immediately returned.

I wonder if his deep guilt from the event left him babbling for so long about "you didn't build this" etc etc etc.
