Remember when all leftist trash wanted to move to canadia because the US supposedly had elected a dictator when Trump was elected?

I bet Chinada is really looking like Utopia to them now.

If this country were to ever arrive at the point where its an us versus them situation, and only ten to fifteen percent of the population were to rise up with their own weapons, the police would be eliminated from the social landscape in a manner of days just by virtue of numbers. That outcome has played out numerous times throughout history and across the globe. Add to that that most of the patrol cops I know are near functionally incompetent with firearms and tactics. The cops are a valuable tool in dealing with small groups of people, but if the numbers grow substantially, as we've seen in multiple riot situations, they would be overwhelmed. So in the end, if they opt to stick their heads in the wood chipper, I guess that's up to them.

Would be really interesting for someone to go back to each of these people and interview them on their thoughts/feelings about what is going on in Canada today.

Don't think it'd change their minds one bit, they live for Government oversight and command, in their minds the Truckers were out of line, and had no right or reason to shut down the city to protest Truedoughs mandate of safety..

A 38,000 trucker convoy is heading to Washington, DC, from Los Angeles to protest pandemic mandates just in time for President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address on March 1.

Kyle Sefcik, organizer and leader of the Freedom Convoy USA 2022, told WUSA CBS 9 that he is scheduled to leave Los Angeles on Friday and drive to D.C. The peaceful convoy will be composed of trucks and motorcycles and does not intend to gather at the Capitol. Instead, the convoy will protest near the White House and the National Mall with Christian bands and preachers.

38,000 ??

Sefcik told the outlet that convoy could disrupt major corridors of the greater Maryland and northern Virginia area and roads that serve as a major commuting passageway and route for commercial deliveries into the district.

Sefcik’s convoy will likely appear in D.C. along with another convoy organized by Bob Bolus Scranton, Pennsylvania.

“We will be along the Beltway where the Beltway will be shut down,” Bob Bolus told Fox 5 DC. “I’ll give you an analogy of that of a giant boa constrictor. That basically squeezes you, chokes you and it swallows you, and that’s what we’re going to do to D.C.”

Bolus explained he intends to provide emergency vehicles an open lane to keep inhabitants safe. “There will be a lane open for emergency vehicles, they’ll be able to get in and out and all that,” Bolus said. “We will not compromise anybody’s safety or health, one way or the other. As far as if they can’t get to work, geez that’s too bad.”

Yeah but…the National Mall is right out in front of the Capitol. Not that there’s anything wrong with that

...

I had also heard the convoy was scheduled to arrive in D.C. by 1 Mar. for the SOUA, but the convoy website shows they aren't scheduled to arrive in D.C. until 5 Mar.

The People's Convoy

The People's Convoy organizers have watched what happened in Canada and taken steps to avoid problems, including accepting donations that are under the custodianship of attorneys that will transfer them into a small private bank, at each stop on the route the trucks will be overnighting on private land owned by supporters, and there will be security provided, including bomb sniffing K9s.

In an interview I caught with a convoy organizer, she said they estimated that it would cost $75K per day to cover fuel, food, and other expenses incurred by the number of truckers expected to participate.

The judge that set the no bail for the convoy organized is named judge Bourgeois ?! That’s too much

I’m not familiar with Canadia’s lack of a constitution so not sure what rights these subjects have but this is pretty egregious behavior by the .gov.

“counseling to create mischief,”... seriously?
Is that what they call speaking out against the regime?
She organized a peaceful protest.

Ottawa Judge Denies Bail for Convoy Organizer Tamara Lich Charged With Mischief, Trudeau Government Seek Gag Order Forbidding Her Speech From Prison

And so it begins… An Ottawa Judge has denied bail for convoy organizer Tamara Lich citing the severe threat she poses to the Canadian government and the destabilization of democracy in Canada.

From the 30,000-ft level, the timed delay of the judicial determination appears connected to last night’s parliamentary approval of the Emergency War Measures Act. The Crown stalled the judicial appearance until Parliament affirmed authorization of the EA. The Act provides increased legal measures for the Crown to keep Lich in the bowels of the dungeon as punishment for her high crimes and heinous mischief.

Despite the government and judicial framing of her actions, Mrs. Lich remains only charged with “counseling to create mischief,” interpreted by the communists in the Canadian judiciary as a grievous offense so serious in nature that her incarceration status must remain higher than all former terrorists encountered by the Canadian state.

“You have had plenty of opportunity to remove yourself and even others from this criminal activity but obstinately chose not to, and persistently counselled others not to either,” the judge said, adding that “this community has already been impacted enough.” (link)

Additionally, the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has requested a gag order against Mrs. Lich , which would forbid her speaking to any of the accused co-conspirator dissidents; “A non-communication order that would bar Lich from any communications with three fellow convoy organizers and leaders: Chris Barber, Pat King and B.J. Dichter.”

NO MORE speaking out against the regime!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Who we haven't heard from are the canadians who think being subjects of a dictatorship is the greatest thing ever. You'd figure CNN would have them on 24/7.

I would say that Canada has the same problem we do. Its major population centers vote these tyrants into office and everyone else pays the price.

It’ll be the greatest thing ever until the crosshairs shift to them. This behavior by their chosen government says it’s coming.

This maybe a bit of a thread drift here, but what impact will this turn of events have on the joint venture of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (aka NORAD)? They do more than just track Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve.

The #2 guy in command of this unit is a 3-Star Canadian. I just can’t see how a potential tyrannical takeover of Canada wouldn’t affect US-Canada military operations.
