The Canuck protests are a fine thing. But, in the end just symbolic. The people who brought this insanity remain in power and are not dissuaded from their agendas. Trudeaus "small minority" comment proves this.

All protests are symbolic as they can’t force out a government short of armed insurrection.
The big deal here is that the press have been exposed as corrupt and incompetent to millions. When the convoy started in BC it was described as a protest about highway safety. Then it was a small group of irate anti vaccine fanatics. Then racists and a small group of people with unacceptable opinions. And today the press are forced to admit that there are more than a dozen trucks and a hundred protesters as everyone can see the size of the protest so the new “official “ narrative is that it is a Russian sponsored protest or foreign funded interference. Anyone with half a brain can see what they are doing. Since Canada really has to alternate view news channels this might just shake up the status quo.

I too hope its not just symbolic. When I was watching the videos of the protest, I recalled something I saw today. At an intersection, waiting to cross the street was a girl about 12 or so. Wearing a mask. Outdoors. My thoughts at the time were what are we doing to these kids and who is going to stop it? Maybe the Canadian protests will spread to the US. And maybe some sanity will return to our country.
And what news organization actually reports Russians have infiltrated the protests? Outright lies!

I was watching a clip from CBC, and in the background, they focused-in on a pick-up truck flying the Confederate stars & bars. I can't imagine the non-verbal intention that they were trying to do there, what's the message here?

Warms my heart to see our Canadian friends and the truckers taking to the streets. Kinda hoping that when they are done in Ottawa they will head to D.C.

Something that occurred to me is that there doesn't seem to be much, if any, counter-protests in evidence. Maybe those covering this event are just not recording them, but I'm not seeing any large groups of Leftist Trudeau supporters or vaccine mandate support signs. Maybe it's too cold for that crowd to come out and support Trudeau?
