Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
People in San Francisco think they can avoid the mayhem they've voted for by living in nicer neighborhoods. This Cash App tech guy, Bob Lee, found out the hard way when he was stabbed to death yesterday. Sure, it's the guns. Get rid of them and all will be well. And another surprise, they don't have a suspect in mind. Maybe the shortage of police they hate has something to do with this too. BTW, I stole the line from the comments in the article. https://www.foxnews.com/us/cas...san-francisco-report ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

One of my family members travels frequently because of his job. He has lived in many different cities throughout the US as well as Germany and Italy. Of all the cities he has lived in San Francisco takes the #1 spot for being the worst in his opinion. He said the city has a bad reputation but no matter how bad you imagine it is in reality it’s actually worse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

This apparently happened in one of the nicer areas of the city. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

not to make light of a murder, but ironic that cash app and Square (his former company) have this in their TOS
Yeah, I guess Self Defense is off the table as far as this guy's companies go. Yeah, if only nobody could buy self defense items, then the world will be all happy and safe. I have trouble finding any shits to give for those in positions of influence (C-office) at companies like this. Plus, this happened at 2:30 in the morning? Yeah, might be more to this story. This message has been edited. Last edited by: radioman, .

NY Post reported that he had recently moved out of SF due to the crime, but was back on a business trip and decided to stay an extra day. In other words, he negated his good decision to move away by going back and being out at 2:35 AM. Years ago when I worked at my friends gun store people would come in looking for a gun for home protection. They would tell me they live in a good neighborhood, but. I used to tell them BUT is a three letter word that changes the meaning of a statement. I also used to tell them that bad things can happen anywhere and they do. Some areas of a city or town have areas that may have more problems than other areas but crime can happen anywhere. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. If I’m a predatory criminal, I’m going to the “nice” neighborhoods for 2 primary reasons: 1. People in the “nice” neighborhoods let their guard down 2. People in the ‘hood don’t have the nice shit to steal & rob _____________

3] People in the 'hood are armed, legal or not. In the 90's the crips in Oakland never got mugged. I wonder why. .

I worked not a 10 minute walk from there for 15+ years before I escaped. It is a ‘decent’ part of town not the premium part of pac heights where Nancy lives but decent for that side. It’s also a short walk to the Giants ballpark etc. A coworker was knifed right in the prime of the financial district a few years ago at like 6-7pm leaving the office. Thankfully lived As noted in the other thread SAn Franchise is in decline and they don’t know it. Only so many people can buy 10-20mm homes and keep those taxes coming in while downtown turns into a ghost town. The financial district was decimated during covid and it’s not coming back soon. The office vacancies are going to get worse in my opinion.

I travel a lot and have been all over the world. SF is my least favorite city to go to by a long shot, and I’m there a lot. I just spent 20 days there. My current job keeps me mostly in NYC, Chicago, LA, Vegas and SF. Those 5 are probably 90% of my travel. SF is by far the worst of them. My guard is up in all of those cities but I’ve never seen anything like SF. I went into a Carl’s Jr last week and a guy was in the restaurant with his pants down wiping his ass. I immediately walked out. I’ve seen people doing drugs and defecating on the street. I’ve seen both multiple times. Last year I saw a guy with his intestines hanging out of his stomach who was covered in maggots in a Walgreens. Fuck SF. They get everything they deserve. “Everybody wants a Sig in the sheets but a Glock on the streets.” -bionic218 04-02-2014

Any turnaround won’t be easy, not a matter of hiring more police. Law enforcement needs support from the system, which is still nowhere in sight. No I’m not blaming Mr cash-app, just asking what he was doing at 2:30 a.m. there? It may be evident somewhere, but where did his politics set before this tragic end? Of course he moved, but did he support ‘defunding the police’ & the other lefty nonsense? Never trust the homeless druggies, one minute they’re asking for $$, the next they’ll knife you.

Curious about what was he doing out at 0235? In the unlikely event I was ever in SF again, I wouldn't be out after 9PM, let alone at that hour. Harshest Dream, Reality

Doesn't look like the perp has much to fear, even if he's eventually caught. "San Francisco-area Soros DA demands judge who rejected deal for alleged killer be disqualified from all cases Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price rails against Judge Mark McCannon in new video regarding triple-homicide suspect Delonzo Logwood" She's trying to plea down one murder into voluntary manslaughter and drop two other counts of murder because the criminal said he was sorry. The judge dared to ask what he was apologizing for if he hadn't done anything? https://www.foxnews.com/us/san...squalified-all-cases ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

That’s in a different county that has nothing to do with San Francisco. San Francisco’s previous DA, Chesa Boudin, was a wokester on steroids and probably worse that the Alameda County DA. He was recalled by the voters in the last general election. The new DA is much more law & order and has no reservations about prosecuting criminals. The problem with SF is that the system is stacked against the DA. The cops seem to have given up. Much of city hall is cut from the same cloth as that of the Alemeda County DA. The cops seem to have largely given up. The few city leaders trying to do the right thing are fighting an uphill battle against these jokers. Regarding the Alameda County DA, there was recently an incident of two local black gangs shooting at one another on a local freeway. A 3 year old kid was killed by stray bullet from the random gunfire. Three suspect were arrested. The Alameda County DA is not pursuing jail time for the suspects. I think she calls this “restorative justice“. -Loungechair

Rincon Hill is not Pacific Heights, or in the more "suburban" areas such as the Sunset or the Richmond Districts. Rincon is still downtown. The homeless are there. He wasn't far from Market St and the Embarcadero. And nothing is good, anywhere, after 2AM, especially in a Democratic controlled city. San Francisco is a total, complete, utter shithole. At that hour, one should be armed, or at the very least, prepared to do battle. SF, Chicago, L.A., Portland, NY, etc. After 2AM, your chances of violent conflict increases dramatically.
