The answer is NO.
I understand the thinking: A complete moron would be easier to defeat in the general election, so we should hope to have the worst possible win the Democrat primary.
BUT: You are an American citizen. You should not want someone like this on the ballot in November. You never know what could happen in November and you should want your opposition to at least be someone acceptable if you lose.
Did you want Mamdani to win in New York? Because it would be worse for New York?

The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Only because she likely would do far worse than the fella that beat her.

If she were to have won.

2 completely different political scenarios.
As Mayor they have way more control and influence.

She is a lone Representative or Senator. Did she have any effect in the positive for the democrats from her time in office?

This is my thought as I could care less about the Democrat Primary as long as a Republican wins the main election. I can’t stand Talarico and do not want him winning the main election.

Man, if the democrat party nominated a poodle, they'd vote for a poodle. She needed to be gone, and she's gone; otherwise, we could have had SIX YEARS of Shaniqua in the Senate .

Schadenfreude: Jasmine Crockett goes down in flames in her primary bid for the Senate

How quickly the flavor of the month changes for the loudest Democrats.

Talking to some friends in TX, GOP aligned groups were putting money behind Crocket because she'd be easier to beat in the general election.

Agreed. As much as we hope our side prevails, the chance that the other side will mobilize enough low-information voters to win means that I would rather see the least-worst opponent win rather than a lunatic like Crockett.

I typed out a very very long response to the others thinking she would be an easy defeat in the generals but “She’s dead Jim” works just as good IMO.
Bye Bye jazzy. RIP! Now go find Beto and ride off into the sunset.

This is exactly what I am talking about. This guy has stupid ideas in so many areas. Unfortunately so many democrats love him. He tries to walk the line on gun control say he believes in “responsible gun control” to try to bid both sides. If he gets elected, he will show his true colors. He also believes all the juveniles who have murdered and raped people should not be in jail and instead rehabilitated by the Health and Human Services and juveniles prisons should be closed. He is a blazing idiot! Yeah the murderer I had to interview a few weeks ago talking to me in a Seasame Street Elmo voice telling me how he and the invisible person next to him were going to to escape and kill another person should not be in prison and just need hugs and love. He told me the voices told him to start talking like Elmo and he likes it. That is probably the 3rd person in my entire career that spooked me to be sitting across the table from with the look in their eyes.

Jazzy C Ghetto Barbie sounds downright sane compared to Talarico, to judge from those tweets. He should be easier to defeat.
