It rained here really good for a bit, then it was gone.

Tabitha said that Moselle, MS poured for a bit then no problem.

Not everybody heeds official warnings. LOL. Check on my video above. Used his Egg money to drive to the Gulf Coast. Found the casino surrounded by water from the storm surge, and was going to put on his sandals and wade into the lobby.

I wish the weather news were more honest. Everybody knew this was a small weak cat1 with little chance of intensification.

The hurricane wind field was barely visible on the maps.

These are coastal and maritime storms that have little to no effect on inland areas.

College football was completely screwed up by weather people showing the same thing over and over again.

We need rain really bad. It has been like 45 days without any sufficient rain.

Some idiot was burning stumps yesterday evening and the flames and embers were shooting 10 to 15 feet into the air. There was no one around and this is the second time he has been burning without any consideration of the potential danger. Several months ago, he was doing the same thing but the wind was 10 to 15 miles an hour.

So when I got home I called the fire department. I would have loved to see the event unfold. The Fire Marshall probably rolled with at least two engines due to the wooded area. He has already been sited for doing work without a grading permit.

In south central Va, where I abode, it has been extremely dry, and coupled with above average temps for this time of year.

Yesterday and today we received rain, not enough however to make up the deficit.

Forecast here all week is for cloudy, wet weather, mainly showers, no intense rain.
