The beertender at Stewman's told me that most places were closing in a week or two (two weeks ago). Still a wonderful place to visit and Acadia is magical. Hopefully there'll still be some color there for you.

If you're heading up from Portland, stop at Red's Eats in Wiscasset. The best lobster rolls in Maine. Expect a line though...you might wait awhile.

^^^ okay, thanks for the heads up. We got mission accomplished last night. So any additional lobster will just be gravy or more delicious lobster to be exact.

I'm not sure if it is closed for the winter yet, but a place I always liked is the Ogunquit Lobster Pound in Oqunquit, ME.
