StorminNorminIs this some type of hog trap someone is digging on my land?
I now think these are perc test holes done by septic company. I did not go out to the land and see what they did like I did when the foundation people did bore soil tests. I feel much better now.

Il CattivoGlad to hear that all is well - and, I guess, to learn what a perc hole looks like.

Me too! It is also so awesome how easy it is to bring a question like this to the forum and get an answer along with a few funny ones. I just love the wealth of knowledge this forum has combined with all of its members. You see things get answered like this time and time again.

Same here. I’ve never heard of a perc hole. I would have been in the camp of an unsuccessful serial killer and it’s time to bring in a cadaver dog.

dubyaSo, someone dug those holes and left them for people or animals to stumble over?

By the way, I just had a septic put in in McLennan County - now retired I believe overly strict inspector. He did not allow conventional systems but I had a septic company get an ET system approved. Difference is it doesn’t require constant inspections like aerobic or adding bleach.
