That however has been a game changer.

Indeed? Ok, enquiring minds want to know: 1. In what way(s) has it been a game-changer and 2. What is the theory behind the benefit of doing that? (Other than the immediately obvious, such as notifications disturbing ones sleep.

See this thread. It was not notifications waking me up as I have those off at night.

I was thinking it had something to do with the phone emitting electronic frequencies or something else other than eliminating distractions that wake the brain.

I agree with this as I had all notifications turned off at night.
Since moving the phone to the other side of the room I rarely wake up at all through out the night.
There are nights one or two of the boys come in our room and climb in the bed and I don’t even wake up now.

Which is why I am curious about this bed/sheet grounding stuff.

Taking a shower or using a landline phone is apparently dangerous during a thunderstorm.

Wouldn't this have the same risk from lightning if there were a storm while you were sleeping?

Well, if that's one's concern they also need to turn off WiFi routers/access points, unplug TVs, radios, and other RF-using devices--including "smart" appliances with wireless network connectivity, home automation, etc., etc., because all that stuff puts RF radiation in the air. Also: Hope you don't live nearby radio or TV broadcast towers, any users of licensed radio communications (police, fire, private businesses), cell towers, Ham Radio operators, CB'ers, or power transmission lines. And, for the of God, do not use an electric blanket!

If you think there is something to it why not just buy a faraday bag for your phone. I have something like this for my key fob and it definitely blocks the signals.

The science behind this is proven, but unfortunately it only works on a Flat Earth.

As if I'm going to be in contact with anything that's plugged into an outlet ground. During a lightning strike, grounds can be potentially nasty.

My professor in electromagnetics class said you could cook a turkey with a 5 watt microwave. It just took longer. Now some farmers are forcing companies to turn off cell towers because they prove to a court it's killing their livestock. Winning against telco lawyers isn't simple.

It's probably nothing, sort of like how they sprayed DDT on kids at the beach to stop mosquitoes.

Assuming little to no heat loss due to convection.

No clue about the benefits, I would personally not want to be grounded. Not that it's likely, but, what if your lamp or cellphone charger had a fault or reverse polarity in it? You're all comfy being the path to ground; getting your electrons discharging; and you touch something energized. That does not sound fun to me.

I'd recommend at a minimum using that tester on all outlets in the room if using the outlet ground as your path to ground.

Also if you live in an area subject to lightening I'd Google "side flash/strike lightening,"

I'm over here living my life isolated from ground and loving it.

I have read that in order for this to work properly you must apply the leeches first. It’s clearly stated in the fine print.

What do you mean by this? You feel you get better sleep with the phone more distant, or..?

I'm not sleeping under anything impregnated with wire mesh that's plugged into an outlet, even if it is only the ground wire. Eek

Interesting reading on the topic. The journal articles especially get interesting if one reads many and starts seeing trends and 'sides' based on funding and motivations.

If I sleep with the wire mesh sheet on top of me will it block out the 5G signals?

Jesus. You guys aren't using magnets? Trust me on this, it'll change your whole life. Make sure to use only Neodimium, you don't want to mess with the nickel/cobalt ones, your body absorbs the nickel and over time and it will eventually start generating negative waves that not even crystals will purify. Neodimium completely avoids that.
