Never again on the pages of this forum do I want to see a rift between two adult heterosexual men referred to as a "breakup".

Don't do it.

Same here. I think it's also even odds that they might also be on the same team and good pals by lunch next Tuesday. You never know with people this driven and wired for success. Either way, I'm not worried about it. This is all has a WWF coordinated sideshow distraction type feeling to it.

Fox’s Greg Gutfeld on Musk and Trump sparring: “I don’t like it. I want it to stop. I want to tell them if they are both watching, knock it off. We are done with this.”

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Take a look at the question "Melissa" asked of Elon Musk if you want to discern the veracity of Musk's Epstein Island claim.

That question, by itself, with no response, makes the truth knowable.

There are lots of photos of Epstein and others, including Trump.

Of course the FBI has a copy of images with Trump in their files.

I’m wondering if Trump and Musk are pulling a maskirovka op with the alleged fall out.

I mean, if ever you wanted to embarrass the media, this is how.

I was going to post something similar- this "feud" smells funny. These men have been very close for maybe a year, Musk has been everywhere with Trump, their families close, and I can't believe a friendship like this can collapse overnight over something like the BBB. This Epstein file shit is clumsy, a joke; if Trump was truly connected with it, Biden, Obama and Democrats, all had access to the files, would have been all over it like white on rice.

I'm going out on a limb, but this may be a tactic by both men to affect things within the world of Musk and Trump, what that might be is a guess.

They would be justified in doing so. Now for me, in my mid 60's, I was alive for most of that debt accrual. So I can't say it wasn't related to me. But my grandchildren would have every right to say they are not morally obligated by their grandparents' debts. Just as they aren't responsible to pay my mortgage when I die.

Yep, Musk crossed a line with that accusation. That was a serious, costly mistake.

Strange feud. Musk isn't wrong, but he's acting like he doesn't understand politics. I think the big problem with Musk is that he's kind of an immature guy. No reason at all that he needed to go all scorched earth. I don't think Trump is capable of not responding to an attack. We need to get this tamped down PDQ.

If Elon says enough nasty things about Trump, he'll become a hero to the left again. That's likely a good business decision for him.

Maybe Elon wanted a hard and dramatic break. Possibly it could take some pressure off Tesla and Elon personally and make him able to move in some of the circles he used to. I doubt if Elon is slow on the uptake about anything, but I suppose he could have always imagined the EV mandates would stay.

Musk has posted more than 100 times so far today. The frequency of posts and especially the things he is saying- this is not normal.

I’m wondering if this isn’t a bit of misdirection that Trump is so good at. Time will tell.

You’re not wrong but I think both Trump and Musk are both right and wrong.

Musk is approaching it from the practical perspective with no regard to the politics. Trump is approaching it from the practical perspective well aware of the politics.
