“President Donald Trump has vowed to retaliate after three Americans died after being ambushed by a lone ISIS gunman in Syria.

In a post to his Truth Social just hours after a shooter attacked a US and Syrian convoy, Trump said: 'We mourn the loss of three Great American Patriots in Syria, two soldiers, and one Civilian Interpreter.

'Likewise, we pray for the three injured soldiers who, it has just been confirmed, are doing well.

'This was an ISIS attack against the U.S., and Syria, in a very dangerous part of Syria, that is not fully controlled by them.

'The President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is extremely angry and disturbed by this attack. There will be very serious retaliation.'

A Pentagon spokesman confirmed the deaths on Saturday saying two soldiers and one civilian US interpreter were gunned down in Palmyra, with three others wounded.

The convoy was in the historic town as part of an on-going counter ISIS operation being carried out in the region.

A statement added: 'The attack occurred as the soldiers were conducting a key leader engagement. …”

I have a question.

The TDS-affected around me are always quick to whip out the “pedo” accusation toward the President.
We see it a bunch on Twittter, too… like this:

https://x.com/OldRowOfficial/s...514867585202/photo/1

What’s the source of this accusation? Many times we hear about 46 showering with his daughter, and his stories about kids rubbing his legs in the pool, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything that warrants labeling the President as a “pedo.”

What’s the truth here? Confused

Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

Social media is infested with these BASELESS accusations. They also claim that MAGA supports (or, at the very least, doesn’t care about) pedophilia.

It is just yet another example of ‘The Big Lie.’ They have repeated it enough that the brainless idiots believe it to be true with absolutely zero evidence.

I believe it to be a cornerstone of their mid term election strategy.

THEN, if they ever do release the Epstein Files, of course President Trump’s name won’t be there. They have already indicated this will be ‘proof’ of a cover-up.

Of course, it is the leftists who want to mormalize pedos, and make it uet another example of their ‘they were born that way’ nonsense.

Libs never let the truth or absence of evidence stop them from believing what they ‘feel’ or want to be true. . .

It's a reference to Epstein. TDS sufferers are quite certain that irrefutable evidence has been publicly displayed showing he was an active participant in all of that, and more.

Just yesterday a TDS group on social media was foaming at the mouth about the latest photo of Trump and several women with their faces obscured that dems claimed was at Epstein Island. The photo was at a suntan company event at Mar-a-Lago, all women over 20 yrs old. One said Trump was a total gentleman. Same with the Epstein victim who published a book (and recently passed away) who testified that Trump was never involved in anything wrong.

The leftists have successfully propagandized the issue, and the mental illness of TDS has bought it 100%.

It is not just social media, but MSM as well. And of course this is all orchestrated by Democrats, who have ZERO redeeming qualities, absolutely none. The Dems photo is in the first tweet, and the real one in DT Jr's post.

The job market is strange now.

At my company we are not hiring. Our core business is down 30% because of regulatory uncertainty and tariffs. Our customers are taking a wait and see position because regulations drive our entire industry. They also want to wait for the tariff issue to be decided in court. Since 2027 is a big regulation change year, normally they would be buying up the current products like crazy because they are cheaper and the kinks have been worked out, and their people are already trained on them.

Now another side of our business is booming due to A.I. We provide some of the infrastructure for server farms so we can't build enough in this segment and our plants are working full capacity with 3 shifts.

If not for A.I. investment, things would be a lot worse. They are in a race so they cannot wait and see what happens. Plus the regulatory environment for this segment is much less strict and doesn't change as much.

So it is all balancing out and overall performance is great, at near record levels but a bit lower than last year, stock price is at record high. It all looks good on paper but we are not hiring and potentially laying off if things do go south.

Only critical jobs are being filled and that requires VP level approval. I'm not sure how big our incoming class of rotational program grads will be. Usually we keep hiring them regardless of the market, but I'm talking like 10 people in a company of 70,000.

My son has been an intern at a good company for two summers and worked for them part time during the school year. They want to hire him full time when he graduates from college this spring, and at a higher grade than normal due to his experience. That has to go to a VP for approval and could be denied but they should tell him soon. He is working in the defense side of the company and defense program cuts by Trump/Hegseth have affected it. If they don't come through he is stuck finding a job in his last semester. It was supposed to be a done deal, just the details and the salary grade.

Now, the other side of this is that companies have abused H-1 visas so much they are actively discriminating against U.S. citizens. This is due to lower salaries for immigrants, the "body shop" system of supplying Indian workers which is riddled with corruption, kickbacks, and false credentials and qualifications.

And if they can't be imported they can work remotely from India. Large banks are not hiring entry level bankers anymore, they are outsourcing it to India to save money. Same with engineering and especially software. COVID proved we can do remote work successfully if you manage it well. And HR departments run by female minorities are hostile to straight white men.

The entire MSM is nothing but a mouthpiece for democrat smear campaigns. It's so obvious now that I use YouTubeTV to watch FOX, CNN, MSNBC, and BBC at the same time in quad screen view. First they published emails from a now deceased Epstein victim who has repeatedly said Trump had nothing to do with it, but redacted her name to try to imply something they KNOW is false. Now they use the face-redactions to suggest the group of girls are underage when they KNOW it was all above board. They are intentionally publishing anything they can to smear Trump to raise enough suspicion for the democrats to retake congress in 2026. Isn't there a law against this? It IS libel, and it is IN KIND contributions to the democrats.

If anything about Trump was in the Epstein files Biden's people would have leaked them before the election. That is a 100% certainty given everything else they tried to do to him. They got nothing and they have been harping on it for months. Now the Clintons are being compelled to testify and are trying to avoid it. Whole bunch of democrats are going to be implicated in the "files" but I still see no victims coming forward to accuse anyone so it would seem they have all taken financial settlements to keep quiet. That's why there is nothing to prosecute and why the DoJ changed their tune once they examined all the evidence.

The shower story comes from Ashley Biden's diary.

The reason for the "pedo" label has a few varying sources, but one of them was:
quote:
Hunter referred to his stepmother, first lady Jill Biden, as a “vindictive moron.” There’s a contact nicknamed “Pedo Peter,” which appears to refer to his father: Joe Biden often used the alias “Peter Henderson,” the name of a character in a Tom Clancy novel, when he traveled.

Trump Says He’s Not Sure Whether Republicans Will Retain House During Midterms

Only two presidents in recent decades have seen their party gain House seats in midterm elections.

President Donald Trump said in an interview that he is unsure whether Republicans will retain the House in the 2026 midterm elections.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Dec. 12, Trump said that while efforts to attract more investment in the United States will help boost the economy, they may not materialize before the 2026 elections. He said he hoped the boost to the economy could occur in the second quarter of next year.
When asked whether Republicans could lose the House during the midterms, Trump said, “I can’t tell you. I don’t know when all of this money is going to kick in.”

Republicans currently hold 220 seats in the lower chamber, compared with the Democrats’ 212. The GOP also has a 53–47 lead in the Senate.

Only two presidents in recent decades have seen their party gain House seats in midterm elections: Bill Clinton in 1998 and George W. Bush in 2002.

“Even those that had, you know, a successful presidency” suffered congressional losses, Trump told the Journal.

“So that’s the only thing that fights against us. I don’t know why that is,” he said.

Trump, in part, campaigned on an economic message to propel himself to victory in 2024, including lowering gas and housing prices. Some of that messaging was intertwined with the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, which Trump said would lead to lower prices on certain goods and services.

“I think by the time we have to talk about the election, which is in another few months, I think our prices are in good shape,” the president told the Journal, adding that he has “created the greatest economy in history. But it may take people a while to figure all these things out.”

He added that “car plants, AI, lots of stuff” are seeing more investments, but “[I] cannot tell you how that’s going to equate to the voter, all I can do is do my job.”

Since the off-year elections last month, Trump and White House officials have focused on an economic message, including increased tax refunds for Americans and the possibility of sending out $2,000 payments derived from the administration’s tariffs.

When asked about the tariff case before the Supreme Court, Trump told the paper that the import taxes can still be implemented through other laws. The Supreme Court is currently hearing the legality of the tariffs under a 1977 economic law.

The president has said that tariffs are needed to negotiate with other countries, including for peace deals, and to bolster U.S. economic growth.

Trump’s remarks come as his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, said in an interview released last week that the president will be campaigning ahead of the midterms.

“Typically, in the midterms, it’s not about who’s sitting at the White House. You localize the election, and you keep the federal officials out of it,” Wiles told “The Mom View,” in an interview posted on YouTube on Dec. 8.
Wiles also noted that Republicans may face headwinds because Trump is “not on the ballot and not active” in elections, adding, “I haven’t quite broken it to him yet, but he’s going to campaign like it’s 2024 again.”
