Kristi Noem. I believe she is eventually going to become a distraction for Trump and the administration. Maybe to the point where she is going to need to be replaced. Why is Corey Lewandowski now being seen on ICE raids with her? Noem vehemently denied and fought off the rumors of her affair with Lewandowski a few years ago and dismissed him from an advisory position on her campaign. Now he is showing up going on ICE raids with her claiming he's Chief of Staff to Federal Agents when he is not? The DHS later confirmed he is an advisor and special government employee. Trump should call them both on the carpet.

Lewandowski is a known creep and Trump had to cut ties with him before but he somehow slithered his way back into the circle enough to be going out on ICE raids with Noem. Personally I don't give a rats ass what two consenting adults do married to each or not. And if Corey is getting him some of that more power to him. But when you are the top dog at the DHS and part of Trump's team don't be acting like a teenager under the bleachers with your boy friend.

lastmanstanding, I agree completely. But more importantly, my wife is even more vehemently anti-Kristi; particularly after her cosmetic work, and the commercials she was on for South Dakota. She makes Sarah Palin like Mother Teresa.
There are lots of serious people with law enforcement experience who would be much better in the DHS job. Better yet, disband DHS, it has been a boondoggle.

Disagree. Infidelity should never be applauded nor encouraged. This isn't the Clinton administration.

But we agree that it should be nipped in the bud before it becomes too much of a distraction.

China needs the US much more than we need them. I'd love to see Trump respond with 1000% tariffs just to drive the message home. Yes, we will no longer have access to cheap lead-tainted dog food but I'm willing to live with that.

China increased tariffs to 84%.

US tariffs at 104%.

I think tariffs at 188% sound good, and when coupled with repeal of the “less than $800” exception will collapse the PRC along with Alibaba, Amazon, Target, Temu, and Walmart.

"They Can Raise Their Tarrifs, but So What?" We are the customers for every country in the world. We are the buyers. If we don't buy your overpriced products, your economy will suffer. China has had more factory orders cancelled, leading to layoffs and closings, It will get worse for them.

According to the "U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services, December and Annual 2024" report: In 2024, U.S. exports to China totaled $147.8 billion, while imports from China amounted to $438.9 billion, resulting in a $295.4 billion deficit for the full year.

I seem to recall that China became the manufacturer to the world by using tariffs to incentivize foreign businesses to build their factories in China. Sounds like DJT is just taking a page out of China's playbook.
