Reschanthaler said the bill “will cement [Trump’s] status in our nation’s capital as our fearless commander in chief, extraordinary leader, and relentless champion for the American people.” Gill added, “I’m excited to cosponsor Rep. McDowell’s effort to rename Dulles International Airport to Donald J. Trump International Airport. President Trump is the greatest president of my lifetime, so it’s only fitting that we honor him and the incredible leadership he has brought and will continue to bring to save our great nation.” Dulles Airport was named after former Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, who served under President Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s. Dulles is the second busiest airport in the nation’s capital, following Reagan National Airport. When I was a kid in NJ, we had three or four tv channels, all from Philly or NYC and that's where all the news came from. I first heard about Donald Trump when he fixed the skating rink in NYC. He and my dad are exactly the same age and both went to U. Penn at the same time, but I don't think my dad knew him. He always seemed like a quirky, but super successful businessman and real estate mogul. I remember walking into Trump Tower for the first time and it was so awesome. I don't remember anyone ever saying anything bad about him for all those years. He was a little weird, but not unlikeable. Once he got into politics, oh my. It got so insane. Now he seems like a savior for what this country was intended to be, but had gotten so far away from. Meanwhile, my dad has developed chronic TDS and we just don't talk politics anymore. But this past week has been nothing but winning and smiling. God bless DJT. | |||
