I don't think Trump expected the congressional races for the people he chose to tighten up.

CD 6 Waltz's district is pretty red, but the left has pumped millions into the D candidates funds, Fine has less than $100K.

The left is running continuous advertisements that Fine is going to cut SSI and Medicare, typical ads in Fl to scare older people.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford Vows to “inflict as much pain as possible on the American people”

President Donald Trump talks about placing tariffs on Canadian goods. Ontario Premier Doug Ford talks about “inflicting as much pain as possible on the American people.” See the difference? Tell me again how the term “snowmexicans” is insulting. I digress.

A few thoughts. First, apparently Doug Ford doesn’t quite understand that tariffs on steel, aluminum and auto imports are not part of the “reciprocity” tariff regime. They are an entirely different category classified under national security directives to ensure American industrial capacity.

Second, as Canada moves into the “freedom fries” phase, voices like Doug Ford might want to consider the end of this continuum that finds the word “embargo” in the lingo. Perhaps President Trump would consider elevating the conversation to “reciprocity” in the banking sector. Again, I digress.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announces the Canadian government intention to “inflict as much pain as possible against the American people.”
WATCH:

Canadians just don’t get it. Meanwhile, as it was within most of the originating negotiations of the USMCA, Mexico smartly stays quiet as stompy feet Canada draws the attention from President Donald Trump.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Trump asks Stefanik to withdraw from UN ambassador contention over razor-thin House majority

‘Political corruption’: Speaker Johnson rips New York Democrats’ bid to delay replacing Stefanik

By Lindsey McPherson - The Washington Times - Monday, February 3, 2025

House Speaker Mike Johnson said an effort by New York Democrats to delay a special election to replace Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik is tantamount to “political corruption.”

Ms. Stefanik, President Trump’s pick to serve as ambassador to the United Nations, has yet to resign from the House as she awaits Senate confirmation, but once she does, her seat in New York’s 21st Congressional District will be vacant.

New York law requires the governor within 10 days of a congressional vacancy to issue a proclamation scheduling a special election 70-80 days from when the proclamation is issued...

Why all these coordinated attacks against Pete Hegseth, when it was Waltz's team who set up the chat? Because they're hell bent on getting rid of him as SecDef, after their failed attempt at blocking his confirmation. I think there are still real deep state operatives in Trump's circle, acting all MAGA but all the while trying to undermine his agenda, and imo, Mike Waltz is one of them snakes. Heard on Charlie Kirk today that there are still a bunch of people in the NSA that are holdovers from FJB's administration. Roll Eyes A member of his team set up the chat. Who was it? Why wasn't he named? Why hasn't he been fired. Read this little spiel from Waltz, after Trump said a member of his staff behind the addition of Goldberg to the group chat:

quote:
"A staffer wasn't responsible," he said, revealing there was a different contact meant to be added to the group. "You got somebody else's number on someone else's contact. So, of course, I didn't see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else. Now, whether he did it deliberately or it happened in some other technical mean is something we're trying to figure out."
https://www.foxnews.com/media/...ing-signal-chat-leak

Fucking double talk. Oh, it looked like this, it looked like that...If your staffer wasn't responsible, the Goldberg name just magically popped up in the chat? Roll Eyes Your team set it up. Spin it however you want, but a member of your team added Goldberg's name. Or, maybe it was you who did it.*

* The latest, from CBS News, so take it for what it's worth, but it was Waltz who added Goldberg to the Signal chain, sources said. Deputy national security adviser Alex Wong, who has been taking fire from staunch Trump supporters and the conservative media over the incident, wasn't involved in setting up the chat, although he was a participant in the conversation, sources said..

She appears the weakest cabinet member so far. I turn the TV off when she’s on. AG media appearances should be rare. She needs to do actual work. Think about how much time she’s wasting preparing for these interviews and whatnot when she could be actually moving the ball down the field.

Because he did post secret/top secret opsec information in a chat on a public chat app. Simple as that.

That's something that's repeatedly conveyed as forbidden to workers with government clearance.

Jeffrey Goldberg Gives Cryptic Response When Asked About His Relationship with Mike Waltz

By Cristina Laila | Mar. 27, 2025 7:40 pm

The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg gave somewhat of a cryptic response when CBS News asked him about his relationship with National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

President Trump, for now, is standing by his National Security Advisor Mike Waltz after Deep State reporter Jeffrey Goldberg was added to a Signal chat group.

However, Mike Waltz’s relationship with Jeffrey Goldberg has come into question after a screenshot of the Signal group clearly shows Waltz added The Atlantic editor to the “Houthi PC small group.”

It was reported on Monday that Jeffrey Goldberg, the anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claimed he was accidentally added to a secure Signal group chat where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

According to Jeffrey Goldberg, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance were in a Signal group called “Houthi PC small group,” discussing plans to strike terrorists in Yemen.

After the first release of chats from the Signal group, Jeffrey Goldberg vowed to release the ‘war plans’ discussed in the text chain.

Goldberg released the second round of messages from the chat group on Wednesday at it was clear that he over promised and under delivered.

Although no war plans were discussed in the “Houthi PC small group” on Signal, the main question is, how did Mike Waltz add Jeffrey Goldberg to the chat group if he insists he has never spoken to him? How was Jeffrey Goldberg in his phone contacts?

On Tuesday evening, Mike Waltz said he takes full responsibility for what happened since he is the one who created the Signal chat group.

Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham could not understand how Jeffrey Goldberg ended up in Mike Waltz’s phone in the first place if he has never spoken to him before.

“But you’ve never talked to him [Jeffrey Goldberg] before, so how’s the number on your phone?” Laura Ingraham asked Waltz.

Waltz replied, “Well, if you have somebody else’s contact and then somehow it gets sucked in, it gets sucked in.”

Although Mike Waltz insists he has never spoken to Jeffrey Goldberg, it appears they might actually know each other.

According to investigative reporter Paul Sperry, Mike Waltz was a source for Jeffrey Goldberg while he was serving on the House Intel Committee.

Per Paul Sperry: Though Waltz insists, “I wasn’t talking to [Goldberg],” a US intel official told me Waltz was a source for Goldberg while on HPSCI. “There’s no need for an investigation to figure out how he was added to the chat.Goldberg was in his address book b/c he’s been talking to him”

Additionally, Mike Waltz attended an event moderated by Jeffrey Goldberg in 2021.

Waltz was photographed standing near Goldberg.

Jeffrey Goldberg raised eyebrows when asked about his relationship with Mike Waltz.

“I’m just not going to comment on my relationship with Mike Waltz,” Jeffrey Goldberg told CBS News in an interview Wednesday.

When asked about the photos of him standing near Mike Waltz at an event in 2021, Goldberg said, “If your eyeballs see us together, then I guess your eyeballs are seeing us together.”

Yup. Absolutely no public communication means. Only thru government approved mechanisms.

I am under the impression that Signal is an encrypted chat, but Signal is new to me. I had never heard of it prior to this past week.

Signal could be secured but it's not tested and certified by the government. Even if the government has certified it, they'd lock down that version and bring it in house. It'd never be an app that you could download from an app store and use it to communicate secret opsec information.

TBH it's a fail by all who were in that chat. They should've known better and demand that the convo be moved to an approved secured comm.

Exactly! Everyone who communicated in that chat. And, who was the one that set it up? Waltz and his team. He knew Goldberg but lied about it. He added Goldberg's name and gave some bullshit answer, when asked. Yet, Hegseth is being hung out to dry. Why? Because he's not a war hawk.
