Some kind of shooting a couple blocks down from me about an hour ago. No victim, and no other details yet. Thought I was done with this kind of thing when I moved out of the City.

Nothing wrong with a shooting as long as the right people get shot.

You know the mayor wrote Callahan up for that remark. Wink

Morse Code the helo crew with a laser to let them know you're sheltering in place. I hear they really pay attention if you use a green one.

I won't pile on with the plethora of comments I could make about Kommiefornia but it does amaze me that so many are surprised when crime is present in their area.
Sure, we used to start our cars in the winter and go inside while it warmed up (lived in the midwest then), never locked our doors at home, had rifles, shotguns on our back window, stored guns in our school locker for the shooting club ..... but that was a long time ago and times have changed. The police aren't releasing any further details yet other than the involved parties knew one another, and this wasn't a random shooting.

There was a random shooting when I lived in SF. Somebody rolled through the intersection in front of my apartment and capped off 10 rounds from an AK-47 or SKS. No-one hit then either.

Not ego, just facts. I guess you can't handle them, so you attack. No surprise there. Continue living in a shithole and pretending it's a great place to live.

Denial is a much stronger drug than ego. Roll Eyes

Here's where I live:
https://mentorsmoving.com/blog/gilbert-az-crime-rate/

The town of Gilbert, Arizona, about 20 miles out of Phoenix in Maricopa County, is one of the largest cities in Arizona. If you’re relocating to the Phoenix metro area and considering moving to Gilbert, you probably have an important question: is Gilbert, AZ a safe place to live?

Gilbert isn’t just safe – it’s one of the safest cities in AZ and the entire country! Gilbert ranked as the 2nd among safest large cities in America based on the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program. It was the only city in Arizona to make the top 15 safest cities in the country.

So now we trust the FBI?

Search posts by you with the keyword FBI and it sure paints a different story.
