This doesn't seem right at all.

Evidently documents taken are related to JFK assassination and the MKUltra program.

(And, no, it's not just the loony-bird Alex Jones. Newsmax has the story on now.)

More from Rep. Luna.

Yup, disgusting fake shit, blowing things out of proportion. Luna keeps demonstrating she’s becoming more and more of a lunatic. Tweeting out stuff threatening the CIA, then deleting it. Then all these tinfoil hatters instantly latched on that, “Ooh, something is going on” to the effect of CIA making Luna an offer she couldn’t refuse. Roll Eyes

There was no “raid”. The alleged raid came out of some CIA whistleblower’s mouth, and no one even knows when it actually happened, but they all latched onto it. If the raid, in the real sense of raid, did happen, you think Gabbard just shut up and ran and hid in the corner? Roll Eyes

Btw, I’ll wager that most of the people don’t give two shit about these JFK, RFK, MLK and UFO files. All goddamn distractions from their pocketbooks which have huge holes that are getting bigger everyday.

DNI denies reports CIA 'raided' Tulsi Gabbard's office to seize documents related to JFK, MK Ultra

Luna clarified that the incident did not occur on Wednesday and that the ODNI has jurisdiction over the seized documents.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence denied reports Wednesday night that the CIA "raided" National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard's office and seized documents related to MK-Ultra and the John F. Kennedy assassination.

Fox News reported the alleged raid, which came from Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who heads a special House Oversight taskforce related to declassifying government secrets.

The alleged raid comes after Luna said she would be holding a hearing on the CIA's former project MK-Ultra, which conducted experiments and studied the potential use of LSD and other drugs for mind control and information-gathering purposes.

"This is false - the CIA did not raid the DNI’s office," DNI spokeswoman Olivia Coleman said on X in a rare rebuke of Fox News.

Luna clarified that the incident did not occur on Wednesday, was not a raid and that the ODNI has jurisdiction over the seized documents.

"Clarification: Took documents that ODNI has jurisdiction over," Luna posted on X. "Also, this did not happen today & was not a 'raid' however it did take place and we are just being made aware of it based on reporting etc."

It was not immediately clear what the operation could be classified as, but a U.S. intelligence official confirmed to Just The News that the incident was not a "raid."

In no way can Luna ever be considered a credible source. A year ago, she had evidence that was going to blow the lid off the JFK assassination. A while later, she had evidence that was going to blow the lid off the UFO coverup.

Guess what happened in both cases.

Nothing. N-o-t-h-i-n-g

She's a grandstanding nutcase, not to be taken seriously in anything she says. The only blown lid is the one sitting on her shoulders.

I understand the news folks want to be first, but being at least some what true should be a bit higher on the priority list.
Certain people (Luna for example) should be automatic red flags as they are now a daily feature in the fake news items.

Using Alex Jones, the grandmaster of tinfoil hatters, as your breaking news should have raised a red flag.

The CIA did NOT raid DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s office.

I spoke with a Trump official that tells me the actual events unfolded differently.

Last fall, the CIA did visit the ODNI to retrieve certain documents.

This Trump official emphasized there was NO RAID.

The visit is part of a broader, year-long standoff between the CIA and the ODNI.

The official said the CIA has been blocking the transfer of specific responsive documents to Gabbard’s team.

Among the materials the source believes are being withheld are documents related to COVID-19.

Gabbard’s team has requested documents, and responsive materials are being blocked, the official said.

The tensions highlight ongoing friction between intelligence agencies as the Trump administration works to gain access to sensitive records.

I have reached out to Gabbard’s team for comment on this matter.

See, this stuff has to be BS.

AFAIK, Gabbard is the Cabinet Secretary over intelligence.

Refusing to give her a document, has got to be something like refusing SecWar.

EG, Men with guns, and handcuffs come to your office, eventually, and take the documents they want, and the resister leaves, permanently.

This sounds like semantics.

The CIA is under the ODNI; yet the ODNI requests documents and the CIA refuses to send them. Not only do they refuse to send the documents to their boss, the CIA shows up at ODNI and "retrieves" more sensitive documents that the ODNI says are under their purview.

John Ratcliffe, the CIA Director appointed by Trump, refuses a request from his boss, ODNI Director Tulsi Gabbard, also appointed by President Trump. Is this a power play by Ratcliffe? Or is he a powerless figurehead, along with Gabbard, while the rank and file "lifers" below them tell them to pound sand?

Why aren't heads rolling at the CIA?

DNI spokeswoman said it was not a raid. That means no taking of anything by threats or by force. So, I don’t see how they can just show up and take anything, unless it was approved by Gabbard.

the CIA is an intel organization, they have no law enforcement capacity

so how could they have conducted a 'raid'?

unless the CIA has a secret police force we don't know about

Exactly! Yet, all these yahoos run around screaming “raid”. Well, I guess it made for more sensationalism, instead of the boring “They called and asked if they can come over to get those documents, and Gabbard ok’ed it”.

It is interesting. It wasn't a "raid" yet the CIA seized or took documents that the ODNI says it has jurisdiction over, and the CIA will not turn over documents demanded by their boss's boss.

As I said, it looks like an interesting game of semantics regarding the CIA getting the documents from ODNI.

And they can tell their boss to pound sand on document requests. How do they do that?

Ok, tell me, how did they take the documents? There are only two ways, involuntary or voluntary. Which one is more likely? They threatened Gabbard and she gave them up, or she voluntarily handed them over? Gabbard herself has been completely silent on this, and the only thing coming out of ODNI was a one liner by its spokeswoman on Twitter, "This is false - the CIA did not raid the DNI’s office", which suggests to me that they all worked together. Moreover, ODNI has never made the claim that "CIA took documents...it has jurisdiction over". That claim came from a garbage CIA "whistle blower", then everyone and their mother latched onto it and spread it like it was the gospel. Roll Eyes

ETA: Man, I don’t even know why I wasted all this time and mental energy on this crap that has zero bearing on my life. So, I’m out. Lol.

"My dear Tulsi. It would be a shame if we had a file at the CIA about you doing __________ which found its way to CNN. I'm sure you can see how it is best if you voluntarily give us the files we want."
