Love nailheads too. Actually 430’s and 455’s too!

If I ever get off my lazy behind I’ll start on my 55 Buick on a modded 78 LeSabre frame with a 455 and TH400 again. Need fuel, cooling and wiring and it’s driveable.

I wanna see pics!

I made my '64 Skylark convertable into a "GS Prototype that coulda been". (Nailhead)

And the '68 is a 430 beast. (insert list of mods)

They are a blast.

I don't think I've ever changed the washer. Maybe it's a Louisiana thing LOL
I have more important things to obsess over . Big Grin

I normally wouldn't care, but the Impala sits atop my other car on a four post lift. I do have drip trays in place, but I'd rather just have the correct gasket in place to minimize or eliminate the issue.

Any one of those should work, only thing I'd stay away from is rubber, although a nice O-ring would work well, it's what we use on Harley engines and they are air cooled so they run pretty warm

Get both, put on the copper, if you see it drips, next time go back to nylon...
