No, I understand you very well.
You are not permitted by law to use the most effective weapon available to you for self-defense.

Sigh. It is NOT available to us for self-defense.

Tac, don't you see what's going on here?

What we all are trying to communicate is that should the unthinkable happens and you need to defend your family, yourself or others near you that when it is them or your to survive then there are no rules or restrictions that make sense.

If you are one of the fortunate few in the UK (or anywhere else for that matter) and you have a weapon at your disposal and have to stop and think "can I legally use this ......" then you might as well be dead because your thinking could very well be your demise.

I do thank God for the tyranny of the English as they are the reason we have a 2nd Amendment.
They do not recognize liberty the same way as the way we set it up in our country, we all realize that.
It is too bad other countries don't ether but it is what it is.

Be safe.

Thank you. I have say that totally agree with you in every way - come for me and my family and there would be no holding back with anything I could find to use, and I mean anything. However, here in UK, where all legally-owned firearms - even my 1862 Sniders and 1861 muzzle-loaders - have to be kept locked away.

What is the difference between the Snider I shoot, and is entered on my FAC and has to be kept in a safe, and the one that I don't shoot that hangs on the wall?

Words on a piece of paper.

It's utterly ridiculous, and we ALL know it.
