wolfe 21Service/Storage Cart Recommendations?
I have been trying to organize/replace my tools and such while I have some discretionary funds. I have a 42" box already, currently in my parents' garage, but was wondering what the forum likes/recommends for a tool cart. Not a professional, but would like something more convenient than a bucket I could move to my vehicle while working on it (forced to work in driveway most often).
I like
This and
This, but they are way out of my price range. Would prefer locking capability also, but I figure that is pretty standard.

PHPaul Harbor Freight has units similar to that at very reasonable prices, some under $200.
Their US General boxes are actually quite nice and a helluva bargain.
Edited to add link.

wolfe 21Saw a 4 drawer in today's sale flyer for $100. Was just a little leery of the el cheap brand. I am honestly a little disappointed in the build quality/materals of my Craftsman box and plan to replace it with something of a better build quality when I finally have a garage/shop to put my junk in...

AKSuperDuallyBack when I was floating around to different shops, I used to pick up one of
thesefor locations that I frequented.
I'd put a basic craftsman set of wrenches, sockets, and screw drivers in it, along with safety wire pliers, flashlight & mirror. That way my mobile toolbox was significantly lighter, in which I kept my specialty/expensive tools.
I was looking at
these over at home depot recently, and thought the quality decent for the price.
Costco used to carry a different brand than now...and I picked up 2 larger, better quality rollaways and a rolling bottom cabinet (with butcher block top) from them for my central shop. I still have the 60" cabinet with block top, and the 48" lower/upper combo in my garage now. I've given/sold all of the rest. I had 3 of those service carts, and I gave them to young mechanics/apprentices that showed promise.

wolfe 21I like that Milwaukee, but it's probably bigger than I need or have room for currently. I will definitely give it a look though, since Home Depot is across the street from Harbor Freight two towns over. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

SigJacketI have a Husky similar in size to that Milwaukee cart. Been pretty happy with it.

wolfe 21Picked up the harbor freight cart with a coupon for $160. Surprised at just how heavy built it seems, coming from a "lower tier" vendor. Now to filling it...
