I can't remember a Halloween that I took the kids when it wasn't cold, rainy, windy, and or snowy. Costumes over raingear, winter jackets etc. I guess kids aren't as tough as they used to be. Maybe we could just deliver the handouts to them.

I’d blame the parents before the kids. Wink

Cool here, but nothing extreme. Had a total of 24 kids. I know the neighborhood has over 100, kind of wondering where they all were.

Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.

Complacency sucks…

Same crap here, and all the sheep played along. You think some wiseass kid would figure out to hit both Halloween AND the approved following Saturday. It was sad, all the streets empty.

It was postponed in my town after the surrounding towns also postponed. I was totally against postponing it as it seems sort of snowflake/safe space like.

That being said, while it wasn't bad out before 8 PM it got very windy after. We lost power due to downed trees. There were live electric wires on the street, etc. So maybe it was a prudent decision.

These go to eleven.

We had temps of 29 degrees and falling, windy, no snow. Nine kids in our neighborhood. My Cousin across town went through five cases of pop/soda and a lot of candy... Cold and or Snow or both does not slow down a Yooper..

Lol...I'm almost certain we would have revolted if they postponed Halloween when I was a kid. Of course, that was our years supply of candy!! And, no, the parents wouldn't be buying candy with the groceries.

I wonder if there if there is a Trick or Treat app where one can enter a neighborhood and then the places where they get the best candy haul. Big Grin
