Yes, West might be influential with the often overlooked "batshit crazy" demographic. In all seriousness, I see West's support of Trump actually being detrimental to our cause.

The only positive about Kanye is that he annoys the shit out of the Kardashians .

The batshit crazy demographic is approximately 1/2 the country at this point. But yeah, adding crazy on crazy is not the best strategy.

Honestly, I wish Kanye West had never uttered Donald Trump's name. I wish that this insane, ridiculous, blithering self-centered loon would stay as far away as possible from Trump; no endorsement, no photographs with Trump, nothing. West is not helping us, not at all.

I find the "genius" tag on West to be truly baffling, I just don't get it. I'll admit, rap is not a favorite musical genre of mine, but I do understand and I get it with various songs by Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and a few others. Not with Kanye.
Even though his music never appealed to me, I can see Michael Jackson's immense talent, and same with Prince, both guys with reputations of being "odd". Jackson was truly a troubled human, truly damaged. Everything I hear about Prince, the guy has a public persona of oddity, but behind the scenes, the guy is shrewd, coherent, a fairly normal guy who will wear jeans and sneakers while operating his studio Paisley Park according to clients and musicians who rent his facilities. I once met Crispen Glover in the 90s, who had a public reputation as a loon, a nut. I consulted him on tech details for one of his club "performances" and spent 20 minutes with him talking, going over technical aspects of his show while he was interacting with club staff. He was extremely professional, sharp, polite and I walked away surprised that he did not resemble his public image at all. But not so with West. From where I see it, West is an extremely narcissistic buffoon, a really stupid guy who has somehow made a lot of money. To him, good publicity or horrible publicity, it doesn't matter as long as his name is in the "news", the shit he does I don't think is calculated, but comes out unfiltered, no common sense, no empathy. Is he crazy? Yeah, I think so, but I don't know if he is damaged like a Michael Jackson or Sid Barrett. Agree The Dems are going to use this against us every chance they get this coming year too. Trump would be wise to publicly disavow him and acknowledge he’s batshit crazy and is not a part of the Trump brand in any way.

Several years ago my town had some interaction with him. He bought a multi million dollar ranch, several empty buildings, and a fleet of trucks. Even Kim liked it here. He was to have his clothing line made here. Then the divorce from Kim happened and all went kaput. PC

He is just plain crazy and unpredictable. The left backed themselves in a corner for revering him as a genius. Then he went on the MAGA train. He's just all over the board. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Isn’t he the loon who made Taylor Swift cry at the CMA a few years ago? I actually didn’t know he was still around doing crazy stuff. Demand not that events should happen as you wish; but wish them to happen as they do happen, and you will go on well. -Epictetus
