I will get them tomorrow and have them mounted and balanced. Am I supposed to get excited about this. I am very pleased to have them. Cooper CS5 Grand Touring 17". A purdy rubber wheel if there ever was. 80,000 mile tire. The max air pressure is 44psi. My van, along with what I carry on board must be near 5,000 pounds. Where should I run the new Coopers?

Just put Coopers on my Silverado and am very pleased. Run the PSI that is listed in your door jamb. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. Mind blown. I simply don't what that is. On a couple of my cars I'd feel grateful if I could get something a little north of 10,000 miles out of the rears, maybe 20k for the fronts. But it'll never happen. Cooper makes solid tires. My brother has a set on his Toyota and swears by them. -MG

I'm on Nitto all-seasons that are rated for 60k miles. It's been three years and I've still got plenty of tread left, though I can't recall how many miles I've put on these. Thank you. I got right out to read that. Combined weight limit of passengers and cargo is 1,355 pounds. Cold tire pressure is 35 psi. Thats where I will have them set. Ive bought these tires twice before but never a set of 4. I bet they play a country song on the interstate..

Same darn 80,000 mile Michelin is $100.00 more per tire. And they aren't really a better tire. Although I have seen the Michelin X Touring last beyond 10 years with tread remaining but badly cracked side walls. The CS5 tires can be rotated front to rear or side to side. Have little wear squares on them so one can read tread life.

I will check them for manufacturing dates and blems. $128.00 per tire is a good price on these.

I would run them at 40 psi. I do not like under inflated tires. Not that 35 psi is considered under inflated but on a heavier vehicle. I put a little more psi in them myself. Ymmv. Congrats on the tire. I too like cooper over michlites especially. Good choice. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

My 4cyl Mercedes killed a set of tires in 16000 miles. Softer compound & runflats. Put a completely different brand & got almost double the mileage. The Enemy's gate is down.

80k miles. As simulated and estimated on the milage testing machine under perfect conditions in the factory laboratory. I like my Cooper tires. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

That's why I asked here ORC. 44 psi being the max is probably for a fully laden vehicle..GVW. I would be fine with them up at 40 psi so long as the tires dont go beyond max in Summer temps.

My slow driving lends to good tire life. Never do I take corners and curves on 2 wheels. If my coffee is leaning in its cup, I'm cornering too fast. Its a old guy thing..

Cooper Zeon ZPT 215/45/18 as a rear tire on my Honda VTX 1800F motorcycle (heavy cruiser). great handling and stuck to the road like glue and if I was so inclined could drag the footpegs in the twisties with the crotch rockets. at 35,000 miles looked brand new when lost bike to flood waters above gas tank. .............................drill sgt.

Thats a shame about your bike now. I really didn't know Cooper made motor cycle tires.

My last car my tires lasted the whole 7 years I owned it and 28,000mi. I sold the car partially because I didn't want to replace the tires, they were starting to crack/dry rot. Not sure what brand they were, but I was pretty impressed. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

Motivos? I like those, but in two sets I haven't managed to get more than 14k out of a set. I don't know how realistic that 60k rating is. "The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford, "it is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards." "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."
