I think at the Fed level, legalize it. But at the same time, push some marketing/agenda that says if you wreak of it, and you get pulled over, go directly to jail and fuck you. Same for smelling of it and going into a store. Store employees should call the PD and have them arrested. I don’t care if it’s legal or not but people are so stupid, they Johnny Blaze that shit up and then go into public. They’ll stink up an entire store. I had a guy come into my gym, you know lifting weights (dangerous anyone?), and the entire gym wreaked. With the shit as strong as it is today, you really need to blaze all day, and in your car? People are just so stupid.

I MUCH prefer the smell of Hoppes to weed (in any form!), but I don't get offended if I smell it while I'm out in public. However, I 'might' have a different opinion if I still had a young child that I would prefer not be exposed to it. Honestly, I could care less if it's legalized of not either, but NO gray area, just like alcohol, it's either legal or it isn't! Further, just as with alcohol, it's use in public areas should have appropriate restrictions. That said, if it is to be legalized, that should NOT happen until there is an absolutely reliable & accurate, scientific test that will determine exactly how intoxicated/stoned the user is (as in measured Blood-THC level) and defined legal limits re: operation of a motor vehicle...And not one second sooner, Period!

Even when it goes to SchIII I still won't be able to touch it because of work. It will be a "policy".

When you see these initiatives on the ballot the objective behind the scenes is to drive more D votes to the polls and in this case, flip the election in FL to a D candidate(s)

Constitutional amendment process by voter referendum needs to be changed, now special interests just spend money on marketing and legal fees to get things on the ballot, and they are never, ever worded so as to give the voter the real outcome of a yes or no vote on the item.

Some of the comments here crack me up, but also, yeah, I get the frustration. The smell, the driving concerns, the public use… all valid points. But I also think the convo around weed (and THC in general) gets so noisy that people lump everything together without nuance.

Personally, I'm not into getting high, but I've used CBD off and on for sleep and stress, especially during rough work stretches. No smell, no high, just a small tool in the toolbox. That said, a lot of the stuff out there is trash or barely does anything.

But yes, lighting up in your car before leg day and hotboxing the gym? That's a different issue entirely.
