And don't get me started on the pop-up ads for whatever you've looked at previously.

it's the fucks at google etc that mine you for information and sell it. they know best about what you want apparently.

Look at it this way. Each email you get like that costs them money. Since it is not effective on you, it's a dead loss for them.
