In line today. But if we’re honest here, this type of bullshit is all the time. Guy is up there, with his scratch off or whatever the fuck it is. Creating a line behind him. I guess he got himself a winner. But the convenience store doesn’t have the cash to pay it out. So he argues. Manager comes over. Keep in mind I’m just wanting to pay for my drink and GTFO. Manager explains they don’t have the cash for that, and won’t until Wednesday morning. I heard something about giving him a card? Or putting it on his card? I don’t gamble so don’t know anything about it and don’t care. He wanted cash. I just wanted to pay for my shit and get out. This goes on and on until finally I had enough and said can I just pay for this real quick? This frustrated woman rings me up and I’m out, so fast it would impress got damn Batman with his grapple gun. As I’m opening the door to leave this stupid ass man buys another ticket.

Sometimes they’ll buy one, want to scratch it off right there and bogart that cash register with their bullshit. Dude buy your shit, and GTFO of line and rejoin the line. Do this to your hearts content. Don’t hold everyone up because you have a damn gambling addiction.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Maybe this will taper off if the shutdown delays SNAP.

Im sure NASA is waiting for him to return from lunch since he is their representative from Goldman Sachs.

Used to happen often at the gas station by my college apartment.
I just wanted a Monster for the drive up to class. They'd camp out, scratch one, win, redeem to buy another & scratch it. Rinse, repeat.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

Dropping my son off at school yesterday morning the look at me, my kid is special crowd was in full swing. A thousand feet before where people are supposed to be to drop there kids off was look at me mom number 1 my kid is learning to drive. Take your Chinese fire drill act into the parking lot and teach the kid something useful like how to park. Seriously, once the kid is driving on his own, he’ll never go through the drop off line again.

Of course, that’s not bad enough. Look at mom number 2 my kid is special, right behind number 1, decides her special kid can’t get out of the vehicle by herself. Mom gets out hands the kid her backpack and project. Again, this is what the parking lot is for.

Meanwhile, 20 cars are waiting five minutes for this.

Sounds like it should have been an easy fix. Fuckhead wants cash but the store doesn't have it on hand? Come back when we have cash, arguing isn't going to suddenly make more money appear.

In KY, there is a certain limit to cash payouts at point of sale, something like a hundred bucks. Over that, but under 100k, you go to a regional office. More than that, you have to go to Lotto HQ in Louisville. I haven't seen a lot of these idiots at c-stores, this may be part of the reason.

It sounds like the ticket was within the payout limits and the store should have had the cash to pay it out. If the store doesn't want to follow the lotto requirements then they maybe they should not offer the service. This is more the stores fault than the customers.
