A year ago I bought a new 2025 Genesis G70.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...300054115#8300054115

I was told that at one year (or 7K miles) intervals a valet would take my car in for free service, then return it to my home.

I made an appointment for the one-year service for 9AM today. A few hours ago I called the dealer to verify. But I was told that because the dealership location was changing the valet service wasn’t currently available. Roll Eyes Complaining didn’t adjust their attitude.

So I called Genesis USA Customer Service. I was polite, but used the words “lie”, “liars”, and “deceptive” frequently.

And, by George, I soon received a call from my dealership telling me that a valet would arrive shortly. That happened about 20 minutes ago.

Sometimes measured bitching helps!

I would personally rather drive my own car there. In case you couldn’t I’ll spare some of the dealership horror stories I’ve heard over the years about lot jockeys driving your car.

I would rather drive my car to the dealership. I know people. Complain about your food and they spit in it before giving it back to you. I drive my car to the dealership the valet takes another car and drives me back to the office. They text me when ready and drive me back in one of their vehicles.

Yes, the new valet guy is great. A real sweatheart. And a very careful driver.

My lease calls for somebody to drop off a loaner and take my car in for service. We'll see how that works out, I'm not due for first service for a while.

Two Infiniti owner household here. We always drive vehicles to dealer for service and are given a loaner vehicle to use until our car is ready. That perk is still available on our 21 year old FX35 as well as our 2 year old vehicle.

My dealership became very accommodating after Genesis USA Customer Service lit a fire beneath it. A valet arrived in less than an hour. And my car was returned four hours later.

“We can’t provide a valet at the current time because we’re changing location,” was the previous sad excuse.

I’m very happy to have that service – I put a high dollar value on my time. The valet was a polite young fellow of good appearance.

Both our Lincolns had Valet service, I knew the guy that picked up the cars for the service and never any issues with people hot rodding the cars.

They even drop off a loaner if you request it and it's available which is nice.

Read the warranty/other "restrictions."

As i recall, my Dodge [Hellcat] Charger specifically states that for reasons of "privacy", dashcams will be disabled during dealership maintenance and test drives.

I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone complain about Infiniti service groups.
The Lovely Girlfriend is a former Infiniti owner. She claims her Infiniti service was better than any of her experiences with Cadillac, Jaguar, and even Lexus. Cool

I know bmw offered it 15 years ago. That or they would give you a ride to work and pick you up if you drop your car off for service.

I had my service advisor offer to give me a loaner car, then drive my car to my office and pick up the loaner car by someone. Other times, he drove my car to my home after work on the way to his home and picked up the loaner car. I stayed with the brand for my next car because I wanted to keep him.

We developed a good business relationship that became friendly. My wife and I learned of his premie daughter and we saw her pictures over the years starting with her picture as a new born next to her father’s wedding ring for size comparison. She started playing golf.

I moved to a different state and sent him an email about a part number and he called me. I did remember dropping by the dealership to say goodbye.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
