These annoy me as well, along with other similar ones like "my screen's getting blurry", or references to "ninjas chopping onions". I'll also add "Wallah". I mean, using voila is trite and annoying as well (especially in text), but if you feel you absolutely must use it, at least learn what the damn word is first! | |||

May I add to the list the [seemingly never-ending] collection of acronyms that military and law enforcement guys know all about, but that are not part of the average Joe's normal conversation? Or maybe those are regular annoyances, and perhaps not specifically "trite." I don't know.... God bless America. | |||
