For the last four months the lowest bidder with the low IQs have been repairing gas lines in my area. I was attempting to exit my subdivision when I notice a big ass work truck with the flashing light package to my left, just enough that there was no clear line of sight. Since it was the morning traffic was zipping by about 45 miles per hour. None of the low IQ workers were directing traffic. Does this warrant a BIG ASS ticket? The power company and tree cutting folks always have someone directing traffic.

Hell some of the worst ones obstructing traffic around here are "first responders" that swarm to every wreck. No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Not sure if it's still the case, but our county has the tow companies on a rotation & you take the next call whether it's a flat tire or a 15 car pile. Slip down into Harris Cty [Houston] & you get 15 tow trucks responding to a flat tire... We do occasionally get what seems like excessive response to minor accidents, but not the norm. Blocking 3 lanes, with 2 fire trucks, for a fender bender, where both cars are in the outer lane/shoulder seems like too much, but I'm sure there's a reason to it. The Enemy's gate is down.

I once saw police, fire and medical block all 5 lanes of I-270 north bound (St. Louis) for a van that had gone into the inside wall dividing the north and south lanes. The left side was against the wall with no visible damage. Only the far right lane (exit only) was open for traffic to go around. I can only assume it was a medical issue and they were bringing in a helicopter. ================================================ Ultron: "You're unbearably naive."
